Hi there! My name is Kayla, I'm just a normal, 15 year old girl...well sorta. You see im not exactly normal in a human way, but I'm also what you would call a bisexual or Gay, yeah ok nothing big but its not very good when your own mother doesn't want you for this reason, and this reason alone. Anyway, I'm gonna stop breaking the fourth wall now. Here's the story of how my life changed forever...
3rd person (Kayla) POV
'Today was the day' Kayla thought 'I swore I was going to do it today.'
Today was Kayla's 14th birthday, and she was going to tell her mother the truth, about her 'boy' friend, truthfully it was her girlfriend, but her mother DESPISED Gay people. But alas she was what her mother hated most. Gay.
She was heading to the kitchen now to tell the truth, she was wondering how it would turn out.
As Kayla walked into the kitchen her mother looked up and smiled
"Hey Kayla! How was school?"
"Oh, hi mum, yeah it was good"
They exchanged glances
"Look mum, I have something to tell you"
"Oh? Okay."
They sat down at the table
"So what is it?" Her mother questioned.
"Mum...I'm uuhh...I kinda have a.. Uhhmm...gi-girlfriend?" She spoke it like a question more than an explanation.
"..."
M-mum? You OK?" She leans closer as her mother stares in, what she assumed was, shock, there is a silence so thick you could cut it.
*SLAP!!!!!*
The sound echoed around the room. Kayla lay on the floor, holding her reddened cheek her eyes swelling, tears streaming down her face.
She looked at her mother with pleading eyes
"M-mum?"
"You, you are no daughter of mine!" Her 'mother' hissed.
"Get.OUT!" her mother screamed.
Kayla ran up the stairs crying, packing as much as she could in her small bag and ran out the door. Only one thought running through her head.
'Now what do I do?'
