I moved to Japan about a month ago because my mum just got married again to a guy who lives in Japan and we now live at his house. I don't speak Japanese really I know a few words after watched loads of anime and reading a lot and manga but never learnt to speak Japanese because I never thought I'd need to. I like to play sports when not being a lazy otaku in my bedroom. People say to me all the time that I look and sound like a boy when talking and that but I don't think so. In two more days I'll be going to my new school in Japan so over the past few days I've been hitting the books on how to learn Japanese it was really hard but I know some words. Since I've been studying so much I thought that these next few days I might relax and do the things I like. It was in the afternoon on the Sunday I went to a nearby park with a basketball court for a bit of practise because I was hoping I could join the basketball team when I joined my new school. It was then when a group of around 11 boys came to the court I stopped what I was doing and watched them come on, I saw they where wearing my new schools uniform. They asked me a question obviously I didn't understand what they were saying. Then one of them realised I didn't speak there language and stepped forward talking English it was a big shock to me. He translated what they said before to me. They asked if they could use the court for practise I let them on because I didn't know how to say no. While they were playing I watched them just outside the court. during one of the games a boy with blue hair came over to me and started talking to me I understood a bit of what he was saying because I had heard it before in an anime I watched. He asked me if I wanted to join them I nodded my head as a sign to say yes and joined in with here game. There team was really good they were all really tall and you could tell they were good teammates by the way they played with each other. when it started to get dark the person who spoke English before asked me what school I went to. I responded saying the name that was on there bags and how I had just transferred from England. I said goodbye to them and walked home. I had my tea and went straight to bed because it was late and it was my first day at my new school the next day I was so excited I couldn't sleep.
