Elise was a normal middle class girl in Helka who was popular and loved by many. But one day she was kidnapped by a group of demons called Project Puppeteer, who decided to use her as the test subject fo their experiment to find an ultimate beauty.

She was experimented on for a year, but once they realised she wasn't the one, they simply patched up her wounds with fishnet and left her to die. Miu swooped in at the last second and used some of her power to save Elise and turn her into a demon.

Her best friend is Relic, who was also origianlly a human who became a demon. She met him within the first week of being in The Dark, when she nearly stabbed him after he hit on her. She was homeless at the time, and after apologies and the norm, he invited her to stay with him for a bit. She ended up becoming good friends with him, and now lives in his guest bedroom. She's also good friends with Selca and Catchil, since she frequently takes trips to The Light to try and find the person who saved her life so she can thank them.
