The invisible is all around us,

It's in the sky, It's in the air,

Sometimes it combusts,

Sometimes it consumes us,

It drives you mad,

Or makes you glad,

You simply have no escape.

But, what you do with it,

Well, that's up you,

Make it into a cape,

Call upon it, draw upon it,

Anchor it, uproot it,

The possibilities are infinite.

The one thing that binds people,

Is the unfathomable, the mystic,

We are drawn towards the unseen,

We give up logic and reality,

We trust that it is enough,

Oh, is the invisible enough?

Can we prove the invisible,

Why yes, it's clearly visible,

Whoosh, the wind, a prime example,

So clearly present, so clearly ample,

So, why do we call it invisible,

Because the invisible is visible.

Though not present in itself,

The invisible is present in its surroundings,

It is only hidden from only one thing,

And that is of itself,

The invisible is only invisible,

Because we make such a word visible.

Water, another example,

Is invisible, but how come we see it,

We see it because of reflection,

Because of perception,

So thus, it has joined the reception,

Yes, sometimes opaque,

Sometimes colored,

But water itself, well you get the idea.

But why stop at water,

In fact, why stop at all,

You see, nothing escapes,

Without light, there is no visible,

In caves, in coffins, there is nothing to be seen,

Nothing escapes the invisible sheen.

With one single gush,

As the wind hugs your cheeks,

The invisible, the visible,

All of it is like moving sheets,

With no direction other than it's own,

The invisible is all around us, all alone.
