April was just a normal 15 year old girl. She had really nothing special about her despite her ADHD. She had been living in her 2-story grey house ever since she was 4 years old and her parents had always warned her about the woods by the house. "never go in those woods, they are more than they look" they told her over and over again, she basically had it programmed into her memory but, she only believed it because her sister went into those woods 6 years ago and never came back.

~~Flashback~~

"April! Lets go see whats in the woods!" Olivia said cheerfully. Olivia was always the adventurous one of the bunch and loved getting herself in trouble. "but Mommy and Daddy said to never go in there!" April was always scared of the woods and, even without her Mom and Dad's warnings she would never step foot into those woods. "Mom and Dad only say that to scare us! So stop being a wet blanket and come on!" "No! I'm not going in!" She was extremely persistent about it so Olivia finally gave in and asked her is she wanted to play ball. They played for a good hour until Olivia hit the ball into the woods. "I'll go get it!" She darted to the woods until April yelled at her not to go in. "i'm going to get the ball, I promise i'll be back. She ran up to April and gave her a kiss on the head. After that, she was gone. "I trust you big sis.." April said watching her go in with tears flowing down her face. An hour passed and no sign of Olivia. April started to panic but was too terrified to go in to look for her so, she just sat on the porch, waiting for her sister to come back. Another hour had passed and April had fallen asleep as the sun was setting. Her Mom came out and got her and knew Olivia had gone in. She told her husband about it and now, they use it as a threat to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to April.

~~Present Day~~

That night I had a terrible dream. I was in Olivia's point of view when she ran into the woods over 6 years ago and saw terrible images of things happening to her. I woke up in a cold sweat and didn't go back to sleep that night. I kept myself occupied by getting on my phone to watch some Youtube but, the internet was down. Typical, since we live in the woods our internet always goes down but my Dad always seems to fix it like magic. I put my phone back on the nightstand and went to my bookshelf to get a book. I studied each one until I decided on Oliver Twist. My Mother had always read it to me as a child so I always loved it. My Mother and Father had always loved books so, they got me into it as well. We had a huge library downstairs but, the steps in our house are so creaky, I would wake my parents so I had gotten some books to make into my own little bookshelf. When I finished I tried to go back to sleep but, still haunted by the images that I had just seen. After her disappearance, I hadn't really thought about her that much until that moment. Maybe I should check it out, in the morning of course.
