I ran down the street, chasing after Piper. She's very fast, but I can match her pace just as quickly.

I finally catch up to her, and grab her by the waist to spin her around. She looks at me with red, bloodshot eyes and tear stained cheeks.

"Leave me alone." She hisses at me.

Ouch.

"Really?" I ask raising an eyebrow, "you're giving me tude?" I groaned, emphasizing the 'me'.

"Yeah?" She cocks her head the side in confusion.

"Wait, what? You kissed her and you're actually brave enough to ask me if I'm giving you attitude?" She spits at me.

"She kissed me!" I flare my arms in the air taking a step back from her.

"Sure." She retorts.

"Look, Piper. Lauren was drunk and-" I was cut off mid sentence.

She scoffs at me with disgust in her voice.

"You're defending her? Really?" She laughs at me.

"No?" I reply with confusion. What is exactly going on right now.

"You two are obviously perfect for eachother. She usually gets anyone she can get her hands on." She growls at me through her teeth as she turns on her heel to walk away.

What? I'm so confused. She obviously saw that she kissed me, or... Tess. She was smirking at me when I turned around to see Piper.

Tess and Lauren planned this!

"WAIT!" I yell at Piper, running up to catch her.

"Tess. She was talking to you right? What did she say?" I spin Piper around once more.

She's full on sobbing now. She wipes her tears and takes a deep breath.

"She said that you didn't really like me and that you and Lauren were dating. Then she pointed at you and Lauren kissing and that's how were here." She looks around at the empty streets.

"No. You have it all wrong." I defend. "Tess and Lauren set us up. When Tess went to talk to you, that's when Lauren kissed me, it makes sense."

"It kinda makes sense.." She sighs.

"You swear you didn't kiss her?" She asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes." I hold out my pinky. "I pinky promise." I lightly smile.

She laughs and hooks her pinky around mine. I pull her into a bear hug, wrapping my arms around her neck lightly, while she wraps her arms around my waist.

"Please never run from me again. Please." I say, kissing the top of her head.

She nods and pulls away, locking our fingers and walking back to In- N- Out.
