Lyndsey
6:30 am.
My favorite time getting to wake up get ready and go to school. It really wasn't that bad I have friends and classes are easy but 6:30 am. It doesn't help that I stayed up until 3:00 am.
Anyway after laying in bed for fifteen minutes contemplating skipping I finally got up and looked for a decent outfit.
"Why are all my clothes so ugly?" I sighed
I eventually decided on black skinny jeans, a tie dye waterparks sweatshirt and my old black converse which time had turned brown. I heard my door open and rolled my eyes. Most people who freak out thinking it was an intruder but I knew it was just Derek wanting me to make him breakfast because his mom was busy. He's 17 and he cant even make hisself a bowl of cereal ridiculous.
"Honey! I'm home!" He yelled.
"I'm not making you breakfast fat ass get out of my house!" I screamed back.
After changing I grabbed my phone and bag and ran downstairs.
"Ah yes make me food now." Derek was stretched out on the couch reading something on his phone.
"No time for that. Get up so we can go to school."
"Z! Come on I'm starving." He begged.
"Tell that to the children in Africa." I sassed walking out the door and down the street towards school.
Derek eventually ran up walking next to me.
"So, whats up with you today. You're grumpy on a Friday."
"Derek its 7 am and I have to walk to school why would I be happy?"
"Because you get to hang out with me tonight! Whats better than that?" He laughed leaning into me.
"Oh wow I get to hang out with THE Derek Discanio?! Thats amazing!"
"I know right! He's soo hot!"
After five more minutes of walking and sarcasm we arrived at school and met up with the rest of our friends.
"Wow the love birds finally decided to show up!" Sarah laughed.
I rolled my eyes as Derek puts his arm around me.
"Don't be sad Z! Shes just jealous." Derek smiled.
"Yea because Chris wont notice her." Ty laughed walking over.
"Shut up!" She whispered pushing Ty away.
"So," Derek turned to me, "whats the plan for tonight?"
"Well I was guessing the usually, pizza, ice cream and netflix."
"More netflix and chill huh?" Ty winked.
I rolled my eyes as the bell rang and we said our goodbyes before walking to our classes.
"So really Lynn, whats going on with you and Derek?" Sarah gave me a serious look as we walked to math.
"How many times do I have to tell you Sarah? Nothings going on with us, we're just friends."
"Oh come on! You can't tell me theres not something there! You guys obviously like each other."
"In 7th grade, yea I liked him, but I'm over that. It was me being stupid an hormonal, going after any guy I thought I could get." I laughed.
"Ok maybe you don't like him but he obviously likes you." She got quieter as we walked into class.
"That's funny."
"Seriously how do you not see it?"
"See what? Theres nothing to see."
"Lynn, I love you but you're completely oblivious." She said sitting down.
"Sarah I really don't know what you're talking about." I said sitting next to her.
"Everything Lynn! The way he looks at you, the way his face lights up anytime someone mentions you, how he gets shy when anyone talks about you two being together."
I felt my face get red. Could Derek really like me? Am I really oblivious to all of that?
I feel like this is bad but I'm continuing it anyway it may get better lol thanks for reading :)
