Jade's backstory

                        (Jades P.O.V)
I was asleep when I awoke to the sound of my mother screaming. I got out of bed and snuck to her room were she was.
         I could see that she had been stabbed in her stomach. There was a stranger standing over her who held a knife in his hand. 'He's gonna kill mom...' I thought, I ran to the kitchen and grabbed the sharpest knife I could find. When I was running back I ran into the stranger I had stabbed him in the stomach when I ran into him.

        I paid no attention and ran back to the room to see my mother dying. Tears slipped down my cheeks as I dialed 911 it rung about three times before they answered "911 what is your emergency?" They asked "I need help my mother is dying I need help" I said as calm as I could, my hands were shaking. "OK what is your adress I will send an ambulance and police" "my adress is (random adress) please hurry" she was crying and she hung up "jade" she said "yes mom?" I asked "take care of your brother for me" she said.

        Then her heartbeat stopped. I started crying even more, I heard sirens in the distance 'they're too late' I thought. My little brother Aiden came downstairs and I ran out of the bedroom then shut the door "Aiden go back upstairs" I cried "why I'm hungry and I wanted to say good morning to mom" he replied "I'll make you food and mom is still in bed! Go back upstairs!" I shouted. He ran back upstairs as the ambulance arrived, I ran outside to see them getting a stretcher "it's too late she's already dead" I sobbed "the killer isn't though" I said while crying.

           They took the stretcher inside and brought him out. After that they took mom's body away I walked back inside and made Aiden pancakes and took the upstairs to him.
              (3rd person P.O.V)

Some days later they were taken to an orphanage. Not long after they were both adopted and taken to someone's home. Jade cries herself to sleep everynight.
