              Chapter 4

            The Entrance

     When Carly woke up she didn't wake Carter she reaced into her suitcase and pulled out a notebook. Then she wrote all shhe could think to write:

Today was crazy I found out that magical creatures exist I found some pantings that have moving magical creatures in it mr.Sorenson told me there is a secret cave somewhere and I have to find it I will write everyday I am here and hopefully fill this 50 page notebook. The second book I writw will have animals and all I know about them. Thats all for now Byeeeeeeeee.

     She then grabbed another notebook and wrote:

The              is currently my favorite magical animal and the first i have seen in pictures it has a red ruby on its head and is awesome.

    Then she put it away and woke Carter up. It was 7:15 then so they got into thier closets for something to do. Carly grabbed a box of clothes and was trying on new outfits while Carter was playing minecraft on his ipod.

     At 8:00 exactly Mr.Sorenson came in and said "get ready for church we are leaving in 15 minutes" and rushed out the door. Immediately, Carly and Carter scrambled to get the big door in  thier room shut they managed to  get ready in 20  minutes and ran  downstairs.                            

     When Mr.Sorenson saw them he laughed and explained " we are leaving at 9:00 I just wanted to get you ready early."

     Mr.Sorenson sat down and stared their dull outfits."O.K here is what we will do I am gonna make waffles but you both need to dress in nicer clothes and take showers. Then you can eat and you can brush your teeth and we will be on our way." Mr. Sorenson then just smiled as he watched them obey.

     After eating and brushing their teeth everybody was ready besides Carter who was running around the house looking for something. Carly started to get annoyed when he went upstairs for the fifth time.

     When he came back down Carly asked "what did you lose?"

     Carter made a sour face as he said "My Ipod"

      At the same time right after Carter was done talking Carly remarked "again!" and Mr.Sorenson said "We better get going our well be late."

      Mr.Sorenson walked to the car and Carter and Carly followed leaving the door unlocked Carly took notice, but she didnt want to say anything.

     When they arrived at church they were 25 minutes early and when Carter went to sit down Mr.Sorenson grabbed me by the arm and twisted me so i faced a small burly man.

     The man whispered " Hello I'm Mr. Jordahno but you can call me Mr. J and my understanding is that you found out about magical creatures today but saw one yesterday."

     Carly nodded saying "correct Mr. J, and is it bad to ..... uh you know, like know."

      Mr. J looked confused but responded "it is bad since you have to pick a team in 10 days, and it usually takes people 5 weeks to pick a team or decide to make one which is a terrible plan but very often chosen for reasons you will find out later. And yes you have to pick a team."

     Carly was happy for some reason and she squealed so a few people glanced but she calmed down and said "What are these teams you talk about?"

     Mr.J handed her a paper and walked away saying "I got to go" over and over which realy surprised Carly but she looked at the folded paper and unfolded it it was huge so she folded it back up to read it when she got home.
