Chapter 21

I signed the last few signatures and smiled in the photos but I couldn't help but feel shit knowing I had competition, and probably better than I ever was.. hey what do I mean was, I never was a was with her? But I could be the boy now, just need to think how?!

Tia's POV

The security guards cut the queue and we all hurried backstage to get ready. The shows at meetups were never very long half an hour at most, when we were doing a proper show they'd last for hours, but we'd have to get out of the venue by a certain time so the boys sung as messed around for a bit.

They pulled me and Dani onstage and this time I saw a guitar on stage in a stand - oh shit.

I started to turn away, but James and Skip pushed me back on causing my face to go bright red.

“So to play us out Tia's going to sing for us yaaay!!" The boys chorused before running off with Dani. I was left in the middle of the stage on my own. I looked out into the crowd and saw Millie's older brother giving me a smile and a thumbs up. I could feel my cheeks blush as I started to walk to the guitar.

What am I doing!? I'm going to be a failure, put the guitar down Tia! I placed it back in its stand and walked over to the keyboard next to it already occupied with a mic.

Before I knew it I was saying, “No guitar for today but I hope you enjoy it!"

I started playing the keys;

The audience were clapping and I continued. When I finished all the fans were cheering and I was so happy with the response! I have a quick smile to Millie's brother and ran off stage.

“TIA THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!" Dani jumped on me. I started to laugh at her sudden outburst. All the boys gave me hugs, even Jai. But he seemed.. awkward? As if there was something on his mind but before I had time to ask,

“Tiaaaaaaa!" I spun round and was greeted by Millie with a backstage pass hanging from her neck. I left Jai's embrace and ran and gave her a hug.

“Did you enjoy it?" I looked down at her and smiled.

“She loved it!" I looked up and saw her really hot older brother appear. I felt my cheeks flush. “Hi, I'm Eric - Millie's brother." He shot me an award winning smile.

“I'm Tia, but you know that already right?"

“How could I not? You have an amazing voice Tee!" I giggled and him calling me Tee but stopped when I felt my head burning. I knew the group were staring right at me. Well this is awkward!

“Erm, do you live round here then?" I asked trying to make conversation.

“Yeah pretty close!"

“That's good you can tell me all the good places to grab food at?" I smiled at him

“Or maybe I could take you there.." He wants to take me..? Wait up Tia what about Jai!! I love Jai, I must be acting like such a cow infront of everyone! I have to turn Eric down.

“Erm I..."

Jai's POV

I can't watch this happen, I can't see her get taken away from me. It's not too late is it?! I walked over before she could even reply.

“You can't take her on a date mate, she's my girlfriend." Fuck what did I just say!? Tia gasped and everyone behind my froze. I could feel my face go bright red.

The little girl who's name I knew a Millie squealed, as if she wanted it to happen.

“Ah sorry mate, didn't know! We best be off, come on Millie." He was pretty much dragging her away she was so excited.

I turned round to everyone behind who shot me 'what the fuck' looks. Oh dear!

“Your girlfriend?" I snapped back to face Tia who had the most beautiful smile on her face.

“Well..er...I was going to ask you in a special way and all... but I er... didn't want Eric to get in there first..." Tia's smile grew bigger, but changed more into a cheeky smile.

“Well you ask me in that special way later, boyfriend!" She kissed me cheek and skipped off grabbing Dani along the way. She actually wants me to ask her out?! Get in!!

The boys ran up to me “Jai you're in mate!"

“I thought you were being a twat to start with but worked out pretty well didn't it?" Luke said and I chucked.

“Thanks for pretty much calling me a twat!" I winked back.

“Atleast you know that she is your girlfriend, just got to make it official!" He said and we all started walking to get changed.

Shit, he's right?! We're almost together aren't we?! YEEEEEEEES!!

Play it cool Jai... play it cool!
