Winter break

Chapter 1

It was a cold winter day and winter break just ended. I was in my 3 and 4 period class and I heard there was a new kid. So many questions were running through my head is it a boy or girl, tall or short, good looking or not so much. Well my name is Rachel I have a twin sister named Kylie and a brother named Nathan and I go to the Winchester Middle school in Florida I am also 12. At lunch I met the new kid I found out that his name is Cameron. I saw him in the halls and he has brown hair and my height he is probably the best looking person in the whole school! He is also in my 6th and 7th period class. At the end of school I texted my best friend Anna and we talked for hours about how school was and we talked about the new kid we were both in awe about him. The next day I made my own breakfast and brushed my teeth but since my sister and I share clothes its hard to figure out what to wear and of course she was wearing my favorite T- shirt so I had to wear my blue ruffled shirt with my favorite pair of jeans. BEEP BEEP. The bus pulled up to the bus stop and my sister and I ran as fast as we could to the bus. Anna saved me a seat and she said "Hi" "hey" I said. At that moment Cameron stepped on to the bus and we both gasped. He walked in our direction and he asked if he could sit next to us! We both exclaimed "sure!" I tried so hard not to sound like a freak but I think I scared him. I was starting to think we were going to be friends. That night

I sat in my gaming chair and played Minecraft all night. Did I mention I am a little bit of a gaming nerd?

The next day was hard for me to wake up and it was really cold. I ran over to look in the mirror "ahhhhh!!" My sister ran over to see what was wrong. " sorry I looked in the mirror " I said. We both laughed. Since I got up late I didn't have much time to get ready so I threw on the first thing that I grabbed, ate a pop tart and ran to the bus stop. Cameron was there again and he talked to me, he said " hi I'm Cameron I am the person that sat next to you on the bus yesterday what is your name" "hi my name is Rachel" " ok would you mind sitting next to me again" "no I don't mind oh the bus is here let's find a spot." When we walked on the bus I think Anna's heart nearly stopped and I saw her face turn red, I could tell if she was jealous, blushing, or both!
