Warm (oneshot)

Remus arrived at the Gryffindor common room. He was late, much later than usual. He just hoped Sirius wouldn't be mad at him coming so late from tutoring. Sirius was alone in the dorm as Peter had a detention and James was at Quidditch practice.....as usual.
"Hey I'm back!" He searched the dorms for Sirius. He went into their room only to find clean sheets on the bunks and an......orange goldfish? Remus shook his head and chuckled. He went downstairs to the common room and discovered Sirius, already asleep, snoring soundly in front of the fireplace. He tiptoed gently to his side and shook him awake.
"Ugh go away-oh it's you!"exclaimed Sirius. Remus laughed,"As much I enjoy watching you snore your head off, it's time for night watch. Do you really want Mcgonagall shouting at you for being tardy again?"
Sirius made a face. "This is getting on my nerves now. We don't need to this "night watch"." He pouted and carried on with his rant."We already get enough homework as it is. I'm gonna call in sick."
"Remus? .........Hello?"
Remus had fallen asleep to the crackling of the fire and Sirius's small rant. He was currently drooling onto his own Prefect robes. Sirius giggled and settled back down next to him.
"To tell you the truth, Remus, I'd rather be here with you any day than night duty. I'd rather be with you. Asleep.  And it's so warm in here too.... Goodnight Remus....."
And with that Sirius and Remus were asleep in front of the crackling common room fire, heads knocking each other's, peacefully dreaming. Until James and Peter woke them up with a bucket of water the next morning.
