Chapter 6

“Wow,” were the first words the came out of my best friend's mouth.

We are now at the formal and it was already full blast.

“This is amazing!” Iris replied.

I sort of remember who she is now, not like I pay much attention in music at all anyway. Iris is like the female version of me, she’s funny, has blue eyes, brown hair. The only difference is that her hair is long and oh that she isn’t shy! She is really outgoing and carefree! Blah.

“Look at this ugly couple!” I heard a feminine voice say behind us.

“Back off Hannah! No need to be jelly of them,” Iris said.

Okay I approve of her for Harry.

“What are you going to do about that music geek?” Hannah said while walking closer to her.

“Hey! Back off!” I yelled.

Whoopies. Didn’t mean for that to come out.

“What are you going to do about it Tommo?” She said.

I looked around and saw the whole formal stopped to look at us, even the music stopped playing.

“Exactly Tomlinson, You’re a chicken when it comes to come backs,” She replied and started to walk away.

“Hey! HANNAH!” Eleanor yelled.

Hannah turned around and Eleanor slapped her across the face. It must have really hurt her because we all heard it, plus she was holding her check. I quickly ran up to El and grabbed her and pulled her outside before something else happens.

“Why did you do that?” I asked once we were outside the hall.

“I had to Lou, for years she’s been doing shit to me! I’ve had enough!” She explained with a tear coming down her face.

Think Lou Think! What would a good date do? They would hug her!
I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her tightly in my arms, she was shocked again but hugged me tightly. I rubbed her back trying to comfort her until we heard the devil and hid behind a car.

“Hannah you don’t have to go!” We heard one of her followers say.

“Yes I do! I’m going to give the boy something he deserves!” She yelled, stormed off to her car and drove off.

“What do you think she means?” El asked me once the coast was clear.

“I don’t know but let’s just enjoy tonight okay?” I asked.

She nodded her head and we got up to walk back. Eleanor looked almost frightened to go back inside, so I turned to her looking her in the eyes. They were filled with shock and sadness.

“You okay?” I ask her.

She shook her head no and a tear starts to slide down her face again.

“Come one El cheer up?” I pout.

She looked away not wanting to answer, I brought her to the bench and sat down, but before she could sit next to me I brought her on my lap, I would be able to comfort her this way, plus I've been wanting to do this, even though I’m nervous now…

“Why does everyone hate me?” She asks sniffing.

“The only person that does is Hannah love, the rest are just following her! You're beautiful, sweet, funny, kind! I don’t see why anyone would hate you, even Hannah,” I tell her.

“You really think that?” She asks turning to me again.

“Hell yeah! That’s why I’ve been wanting to ask you out!” I stated.

“You what?” She asks, looking shocked.

Oh shit, the last part wasn’t suppose to be said! Shit!

“Uhmm...” I said scratching the back of my neck. Oh stuff it! I’m going to ask!

“Listen El, Can I ask you something?”

“Of course,” She replied with concern.

“Do you, umm like chicken?” I said.

Great job Louis! Just chicken out!

“That’s not what you wanted to ask” She giggled.

“I don’t know how to ask it!” I admitted.

“Can you show it?” she asks smirking a bit.

“Maybe” I reply with an equal smirk.

I leaned in and kissed her lips, they were soft like I expected. At first she was in shock that I went in, but then she started to kiss me back. I felt her hand go on my cheek as mine are on her waist. She pulled away with the biggest smile on those lips I just kissed.

“El, Would you be my girlfriend?” I ask shyly.

Don’t say no, Please don’t...

“I would love too!” She replied leaving a peck on my lips.

“Do you wanna go back inside now?” I ask.

“Of course!” She states, grinning wide now.

I took her hand and we headed inside.

“You guys took a while” Harry said walking up to us.

“Hey El, come bathroom with me?” Iris said quickly.

“Uh, okay sure” She said letting go of my hand and went off with Iris.

“What happened? You're awfully too happy, not that it's bad,” Harry said

“I did it!” I replied going to grab a drink.

“You did what?” Harry asked.

“I did it Harry! I asked El to be my girlfriend and I kissed her first! I did it!” I said facing him with the biggest smile I’ve ever had.

“What! Oh my god Lou! I’m so proud of you!” he said giving me a bro hug.

“Thanks man,” I said.

“You are one crazy dancer Mr Tommo!” my newly girlfriend said with a giggle.

“And so are you Miss Calder,” I replied with a grin. I am having an amazing time. One of the best nights actually.

Right now we are walking up to my front door.

“Oh I almost forgot to tell you something!” She told me stopping in front of my door.

“Go on,” I reply turning the key for my house.

“I MADE IT INTO UNI AT MANCHESTER!” she exclaimed happily.

“Wow El! That’s amazing!” I said and pecked her little soft lips.

She let out a giggle as I opened my front door while our connecting our hands.

“I’m home!” I yelled out.

“Lou! Come in here!” my mother yelled from the dinning room.

“Yes?” I replied once I got into the dinning room.

I looked at them and noticed that there was someone else there with their back facing me.

“We wanted to tell you that you made it in Doncaster University to study Music and Drama! Now I know Harry is going to Manchester and that other chick might be too,” my mum starts.

When my mum classified Eleanor as that chick, El goes behind me still holding my hand, giving it a squeeze. “But not to worry! Hannah here is going too and you two can be together again!” My mother finished.

“What!” I started with disgust, “I don’t want to do that! I want to go to Manchester with Harry and Eleanor! And no way I am going out with Hannah! I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!” I yelled the last part.

“We have to meet her first!” My father said.

“YOU'S ALREADY HAVE! I'M GOING OUT WITH ELEANOR!!” I yell again, stating the fact that we are actually going out. El and I.

The three people at the table faces just dropped.

“No Louis! You are going to date Hannah! Dump Eleanor now!”  My father yelled.

“I can’t do that! I actually care about her!” I said squeezing Eleanor's hand.

“Why don't you tell her you're still not ready!” Hannah said with a smirk.

“That wouldn’t be smart when she is in the same room” Eleanor said sounding scared, coming out from behind me.

“I’m sorry Eleanor but Louis is going to date Hannah.” My father told her.

“No I’m not! And I’m not going to Doncaster! I’m going to Manchester! You 3 can’t always make my choices!” I yelled and ran to my room letting go of El’s hand.

“You better go now.” I heard Hannah say faintly as I run to my room.

“I’LL TALK TO YOU SOON LOU!” I heard my girlfriends voice say then a door slam.

Why must all this shit happen to me!
