Chapter 2

" Liam is my sister's boyfriend. Has been for about a year now." I throw my head back frustrated in the fact she got caught up in this situation again. 

"I'm so sorry Charlie"

"It's whatever." she groans in confusion 

"You'll find someone. I know you will he's just out there waiting for you."

"What do I do now mer? What do I even say?" 

"Well you dump him." I look at her concerned 

"Yes but what about your sister?" 

"I'll take care of it." I run my hands through my hair, I totally forgot about her. 

We pull up to the gate of my house and greet the security guard as he pushes the button opening the gate for us to drive through. I hop out of her car and grab my purse I look back at her with wide eyes unsure of what to say exactly.

"It'll be okay charlie. I promise."

"yeah." she blankly says back 

I close the door and look threw the passenger window 

"I'll see you tonight! Paris here we come!" I smile at her 

 "Au Revoir!" She blows a kiss 

"Je t'aime !" I walk away from the car waving 

I watch her leave my drive way and back out the big white gates. 

I walk up and through the front doors checking my makeup with the reflection of my phone before continuing on.

"Darling! Are you packed for your flight tonight or should I get Donna to do it?"  my mother rustles out of the kitchen with her iphone in one hand and her ipad in the other.

"No mom I got it." I chuckle at her 

My mom is the definition of Calabasas. 

Blonde, Fake, and is over flowing in money from being pretty in front of the camera. 

Now i'll admit, I do the same profession. My entire family does but the fact that she had absolutely no drive to anything other than that with her life is frighting.  I want to be an actress and it's my all time dream to be in movies and TV shows. 

Not just pose half naked for photo shoots or to walk in runway shows. I love it and being able to do it with my best friend is the most amazing part but its just not something I want to do forever. 

As the night went on my sister, Katherine came home with Liam, 

I pulled my sweats on and put my hair up for the long flight I had ahead. As I was walking downstairs I was greeted by her and Liam who I could barley make eye contact with. 

"Am  I to late? Your already leaving for your trip? I was really hoping you'd be able to stick around Liam and I have some pretty big news." Kathy smiles up at Liam and then back at me 

"uhm, yeah actually I should get going but whatever you need to tell me I can hear it before I leave." I look at the floor and cross my arms 

"well. Liam and I are, You want to say it?" she smiles brightly at him 

"were getting engaged." he finishes and looks at me smirking

"wow, uhm. I don't know what to say." I give a fake smile 

"come on Mer. Please say something." she bites her lip hoping for a better response 

"congrats! But I uh.. I gotta go." I say grabbing my suitcase and pushing through them

"Meredith! Come back here!" Katherine yells as I jump into the limo waiting outside for me 

I couldn't believe him! What a scumbag. When we arrived at the airport I was ambushed with the paparazzi, but I kept walking through. I met Charlie at the terminal and we boarded the plane.

"Are you ready for this or what?" she says excitedly 

"I'm pretty ready for this." I smile back at her strapping my seat belt across my lap 

We took off and were offered some drinks and snacks. 

I was almost falling asleep and I hear charlie shuffle around to face me. 

"How did Kathy take it?"

"Uhm, well see...."

I was cut off by the the flight attendent "We will be landing in a few minutes, do you need anything else?"  she smiles 

"uhm, no.. thank you." I sit up in my seat and look back at charlie who has lost interest in the subject thank god.

When we landed we were greeted by our managers and fans everywhere yelling for pictures.

"nous t'aimons!" we shout as we walk into our car that would take us right to the venue holding the fashion show. No time sadly to go to the hotel.
