Free From Reality
The wind ripples over the grass.
Flowing throughout,
dipping in and out,
of each strand.
Flowers dance along.
Their petals drift
through the sky.
A sunset
paints a canvas of
purples and pinks.
Spinning round and round.
I fall down laughing.
Birds sing their
lullabies.
Laying down in the grass,
ladybugs tickle my legs.
Day transforms
into night.
Stars peak out,
smiling and shining
down on me.
The crickets
call out
through the night.
Walk down to the water.
Lapping at my feet.
The moon's reflection
calling me in.
Step into the calm,
chilly, indigo water.
Looking up at the sky.
Close my eyes,
listen to the cricket's chirps.
Forget the rest
of the
world.

Not A Puppet
You think I am a puppet.
Just move my strings,
and I'll do your bidding?
Ha, that's funny.
I'm strong, stronger then you.
I cut those strings,
I am free.
Not a toy.
Not to be played with,
not for your sick pleasure.
My thoughts,
piercing to the ear.
My voice,
strongest gun you will ever see.
Untouchable is what I am.
Unbreakable is what I am.
You don't own me.

Forgive You
You hurt me, but I still love you.
Your lies pierced my heart
and made it bleed.
Your words haunted me,
playing with my mind.
Your smile made my mind blur.
Your voice sang the song of the angels.
Your eyes told the sweetest story ever told.
One day you were here,
now your not.
I can never hug you again.
I can never hear your song,
or see your beautiful eyes again.
You never meant to
hurt me.
You wanted to protect me.
But I want you to know
even though you lied,
I still love you.
I want you to know
I forgive you.
