Characters: Hau, Gladion, --- (insert name)
Setting: Melemele Island, malasada shop.
My phone vibrated, Hau’s face popped up on screen with the words Malasada Child over him. I pick up the phone, standing up from my bench.
“---! YOU HAVE TO HELP ME!” Hau sounded like he was running.
“What the h- uh Heck. Are you doing?” I corrected myself. Hau hated swearing.
“I TRIED GETTING GLADION TO MEET US AT THE MALASADA SHOP BUT NOW HE IS CHASING ME WITH SILVALLY” I heard the distant noises of feet and lots of shouting.
I sighed, “Where?”
“AETHER PARADISE!”
“Alright, I'll use Charizard to get over there. Don't die on me” I hung up. It was the second time this week that Hau was pissing off Gladion.
I took out my ride pager and soon enough a charizard flew over to me and picked me up.
At the AP, an employee ran up to me, first shocked to see I dare come here with a skull tank on, but shook her head and pointed to where the fight was going on.
You look to see Hau’s Incinaroar holding Gladion by the collar and sitting on silvally.
“---, ah-lo-la!” Hau waved at you.
“Alola, Hau… And Gladion” you greeted, “now what's going on?”
“THIS LITTLE… THING! KEEPS SHOWING UP ASKING ABOUT LILLIE AND MALASADAS!” Gladion shouted.
“Oh please, edge boy. He's always like this.”
“DO NOT CALL ME EDGE BOY” Gladion started screaming. No. Really. Full on screaming.
“Like a child…” I mumbled to Hau.
Hau sighed and walked up to Gladion. Trying to yell over his infinite screams.
“IF I HAVE INCINAROAR PUT YOU DOWN SO YOU CAN COME HANG OUT WITH US WILL YOU STOP SCREAMING?!”
Gladion hushed up. “Only if --- comes along. I can't handle you alone…”
“Deal.”
“YES! I AM GOING TO EAT ALL OF THE MALASADAS!” Hau jumped up and down.
How is this child not fat… I think all of the calories goes to his eyebrows. Then again he is always jumping around.
“Thank you for coming… You are the only adult I know that acts like a mature one.” Gladion mumbles.
“No problem, I like hanging out with you guys instead of catching pokemon and whatnot.” I reply.
We all take a small boat to Melemele Island, and walked up the dock to the malasada shop.
“I’m paying for all of us, no arguments” I take the right amount of money, “Sweet ones right?”
Both Gladion and Hau nodded. When we walked in, the two ladies at the counter greeted Hau. I don’t know if that was a good a bad him, but someone was here a lot of times then.
I ordered three sweet malasadas and three big ones to share with our pokemon.
Hau viciously ate up his, while Gladion looked horrified at him, the same face he had when Nanu performed his Z-Move.
I took my time on mine, I don’t need to be a monster like Hau… But before I could get half through mine, Hau ordered another one.
After many, many, M A N Y malasadas later. We carry Hau home. Hala thanks us and shakes his head at a full bellied child.
I walked slowly down Route 1 in silence.
“I-I’ll just being… uh, going back Aether” Gladion stammered.
“This early? Come on edge boy. At least battle me or something…” I nudged him.
“Fine. One battle, ---. That's it.”
“Sounds good.”
One intense battle later both of us are out of breath. He stares at me with frustrated eyes.
“How do you get stronger every time!” He tried to shout. I stood up and he walked toward me. Gladion was shaking. He stepped closer.
“Gladion?” I got nervous.
“You're strong… I'll give you that” He replied.
“Gladion!” I raised my voice. What was he doing?
“Shut up” He grabbed my arm and pushed me against a wall to give me a full on kiss. He pulled away, covering his cheeks. (Although his whole face was red).
“Oh, fuck. Sorry” He started to walk away.
I grabbed his arm.
“Only be sorry because you kissed me without giving me anything else.”
Gladion smirked. HM THAT SMIRK.
“Well, Aether’s walls are thick”
“Lead the way…”
