Molly had been doing modeling for about two years, and she became very famous. Doing work for vogue, ysl, glamour, and vanity fair magazine. She was in love with Spain, and loved the life she was living. Until it became too much.
About a year and a half in, she started drinking pretty heavily. Visiting clubs every night, and always leaving with a boy. She had no idea how to deal with this much fame and money and power. It soon evolved to cocaine, and she was slowly wasting away.
She stopped doing it about 6 months later, when one of her managers took advantage of her while she was lying unconscious in the corner of a club in the VIP section. She wouldn't have even known she was assaulted if it weren't for the pictures that were leaked.
She decided to stop modeling for awhile and go find herself again. This wasn't her. She decided to join the peace corps, and found herself volunteering in India on and off for three years. Then she decided to pack up her belongings and sell her house in Spain and go back to her roots in Norway. Being 23 and she felt like her life was already lived.
Chris was at the best point of his life. Or so he thought. He finished college after graduation, and started his own management company. It quickly blew up.
He became famous and spent his money on things he didn't need, or even want for that matter. Because cash kept flowing in and he didn't know what to do with it. Whether it meant strippers or more cars, he couldn't get enough of this lifestyle.
He only kept in touch with one person from high school and that was William. William was constantly trying to get Chris to end the shit he was doing, and William was also a part of the company. He was the one who was saving money because if he didn't, Chris would be able to buy a lot more than some range rovers. Chris was 25 and felt as if his life was just beginning, what's the rush to settle down? But his mind started to split when William asked him to pick out engagement rings with him for Noora. They were getting older, and they weren't in high school anymore.
Soon after that, Chris got a girlfriend. She was an investor, and kept Chris on steady ground. She never went outside the box and this is what Chris needed.
After all these years one thing was consistent. The ring that the boy out on the girls finger never once left it, and the speech he prepared for her was still laying in the nightstand next to his bed.
