Layne's P.O.V
It was your normal day of school.I was in the back of Mr.E's class. I sat next to a girl her name was Alanah. On my right was a boy named Luke. Luke was one of my bestfriend,no he was my only friend.I got bullied a lot by Chris and Kaleb .
I was lost in my thoughts till i heard the bell ring singling that class was over. I packed my stuff in to my bag and rush out the to my next class. Not to far behind me was a female her name was Marcaila. Her eyes were always purple. (Sadness) I never seen her eyes change color like everybody's. Luke has told me my eyes are purple,green and orange.(sadness,envy and happiness.)Luke's eyes go from blue,orange and pink and sometimes black,but that's when Chris is mean to me when I am with him.(calm,happy,love(towards his crush) and sometimes anger)After a while of waiting everyone was in class.
"Okay class today today you are going to be taking your weekly test" Mrs.Glidden said passing out our test"grade your shields and start you test" she said walking to her seat
I looked at the clock to see how much time I have till Lunch I only had 30 minutes
30 MINUTES LATER
"Okay kids time for lunch" Mrs. Glidden said walking to the door .
I walk to the back of the line next to Marcaila. We may not be friends but we talk and sit next to each other at lunch sometimes Luke sits with us. But when Luke sits with us it is only us talking Marcaila doesn't really talk.The walk wasn't that long to the lunch room."I am going to get my food save me a seat please Marcaila. Oh, and Luke sit with us today." I said was we were about to walk through the door. She gave me a small smile in witch surprised me because she always had a straight face along with her bright purple eyes.I walked to the line and bought my food and went to find Marcaila. When i got there Luke was there along with Marcaila."Hey Luke you wont believe what Marcaila did today" i said as i knew that Luke always said the day Marcaila smiles is the day the world will end.
"What did she do Layne"
"She smiled" as soon as I said Marcaila smiled again.
"Holy the world is going to end everyone take cover.But really you should smile more,you look better with a smile" As soon as Luke said this Marcaila's eyes changed color the went to an orange color with what looked like small speckles of pink. Luke and Marcaila were having a small fight on wetter or not she looks better with a smile or not.Call me weird but it was times like this I wished for time to repeat forever,but I know that it wouldn't. "Hey Marcaila,it looks like that helper you are seeing is helping" I said because normally her eyes were always purple but now they are orange. "Yeah she is.I never thought that she could but she has."she said turning away form Luke.The rest of lunch i ate and watched Luke and Marcaila fight about anything they could think of.
It was our free time and Luke,Marcaila,and I all went to the and empty classroom where we all always go. We were all having a great talk until 3 people walked in.Those 3 people were Chris,Kaleb,and Zack. The 3 main people that bully Marcaila and I."Hey it looks like we have found the 2 main fags in this school plus a person that acts to like them" Chris said to the other 2 people that were be hind him."Hey why are your eyes orange did you finally find a boyfriend or something" Zack said to Marcaila. Her eyes went back to purple."did someone finally take a liking to you for once " they kept saying things to Marcaila until the bell rang the kept saying things to her things got worst Chris punched her in the gut causing her to fall to the ground.They fit her until they had enough. As soon as they left I ran up to her. Her glasses were off to the side you could tell she tossed them so they wouldn't break and she was holding her phone so it wouldn't break."Okay Marcaila come on" I said as and helped her up"get on my back.Luke can you grab her glasses her me" I said.She got on my back and we started to walk to the nurse.
TINE SKIP TO THE NURSE
"okay you can go back to class" I heard the nurses voice coming though the paper thin walls as we waited for her. The rest of the day we all hung out in the back away from everyone. Marcaila's eyes went back to orange with pink specials. At the end of the day we were all happy.
