There was once a lonely demon. He watched the human world he watched families friends and lovers. Humans were curious creatures weaker than demons and far more short lived by all means a lesser race. Yet they possessed something that he did not, a heart. The lonely demon felt nothing not joy nor sadness. He watched the humans and came to a conclusion. Perhaps if he could come to posses a human heart he too could live among them feel the warmth of happiness. The sting of sorrow and above all love. So the demon waited until the fall of night to conceal himself as he snuck into the world of humans to steal a heart and steal one he did. Yet still he felt nothing he could not understand why he possessed a human heart yet he felt nothing. The demon remained determined though if one human heart did not work then perhaps more would. Driven on by his desire the demon claimed more hearts. Every human he came across became heartless to feed his desire. But with every heart the demons envy grew as he still was unable to feel as the humans did. Perhaps the answer lied in strong hearts the demon then decided. And so he claimed humans with strong hearts but still he felt nothing. Why could the humans feel why he could not? He possessed countless of their hearts and felt nothing yet all they needed was one weak pathetic heart? And so the demon grew vengeful the humans flaunted there emotions in his face something he could never have. He would devour every heart then free the world of emotion then perhaps he would truly belong.
