Walking out my house door into the new jersey morning crisp air was something I wasn't used to. Hoping into my matte black jeep, turning the radio on and driving to my new school. It wasn't far away, but it wasn't close.

My parents made me move from Texas my home town, to new jersey. I mean I wasn't complaining I like to travel, but it was the fact it was so sudden. I mean I wasn't really wanting to stay in Texas, me and my boyfriend broke up after a 2-year relationship. He cheated on me with one of my best friends. I was so hurt I didn't know what to do so I stayed inside all the time and never went school.

As I find the school, I see hundreds of students walking into the school meeting with friends. I was slowly driving looking for a parking space, I found one a slowly parked in it. I grabbed my backpack sating anti-you on the front, and jumped out of my car.

I shut my car door and started to slowly walk into the school. Walking through the halls was scary see loads of people looking at you staring at you, whispering stuff like omg it's the new girl. Wait is that the new girl?

I hated to be judged. I turn into the office I lightly knock on the window and wait for someone to answer.
"Hello, how can I help you?" the 30 year oldish woman asked smiling. I smile back
"sorry I'm new here I was told to come here before school started"
"hello sorry jean she can come and follow me" a tall man around the age of 40 spoke walking over to me "sorry I'm the head of the school, I'm Mr Williams" he smiles walking into his office with me following him.

I walk over to the seat across from his desk. He sat there pulling out papers looking though them. After a couple of minutes, he pulls out a sheet and hands it to me.
"is this my schedule?" I ask looking at it, I look up
"yes" he nods his head, he looks down at his watch, "the bell for your first lesson is about to start, you locker number and code is on the bottom of the sheet as well" he spoke standing up walking to open the door for me. I stand up and grab my things and walk out his office and back into the hall.

I look at the locker numbers and see mine. I smile and walker over to my locker and but the code in and it unlocks. I look in it and start to but little things in there, like book I won't need and close it. I pull out my phone and see I had a text from my dad

Morning hunny, sorry I could say by to you this morning, I didn't want to be late for work. Love you hope you have a good day at school.

I smile and lock my phone. I look up as see a group across from my locker looking at me smiling them whispering. Great, people don't already like me. I look down and I see one of the girl from the group walk over to me. I look up and she smile
"hey I'm Madison" she smiled
"hey I'm Maggie, I new here as you can tell" I laugh
"yeah I don't know if you want to but I my group was wondering if you wanted to join our group we don't want you to be on your own" she smiled
"yeah if that's okay, I don't want to intrude" I smile she shakes her
"no no no you're not trust me" she laughs dragging me to the group of her friends
"hi I'm Maggie" I smile at them a guy with dark skin smile at me
"hey im Rickey" he smiled
"im Kelsey" another girl with purple hair smiles
"hey" I say again
"let me see your schedule, we all need to see what lesson we have together" Rickey smiled taking the sheet out of my hand before I could reply
"so where did you come from?" Madison asked while Rickey looked through my time table
"I came from Texas" I smiled
"that's cool" Kelsey smiled
"okay so we have 2 lessons together today, and you also have 3 lessons with Madison and Kelsey and we are altogether last period" Rickey passed me back the sheet

The bell went and I started to walk away with Rickey
"math is so boring" he whines
"I mean I don't like it but if I have good people in the lesson then I don't mind" I laugh walking into room 45 seeing a teacher look at me
"you must me the new student, im Mr smith" he smiled handing me my math book, I nod my head and he tell me to sit second from the back so I walk back to the back of the classroom and sit in front of Rickey who sits at the back. I turn around to him and start to talk to him
"do I have to sit here?" I ask a little bummed about having to sit next to someone I don't know.
"he does this every year" he sighed I sigh and turn back around and write my name on the math book Maggie Lindemann I smile and starts staring around the classroom.

The teacher starts to teach the lesson but was interrupted by a boy bursting through the door
"Mr Dolan, it's the first day back and your already late" he sighs
"sorry, where do I sit?" he asks looking around the classroom his eyes land on me, he smirks and turns back to the teacher
"you're sitting next to Miss Lindemann, she the new student" he spoke pointing to me turning back around teaching. The boy turns around and smirks again and walks over to me and he drops his backpack on the floor and sit down in his seat, pulling out his math book.

I look at his math book and it said Ethan Dolan so that's his name.
"hey so you're the new girl everyone talking about" he smirks looking at me god he was hot
"yeah im Maggie" I smiled
"im Ethan" he smiled back and we started to learn until the head teacher walked in asking if he could speak to the teacher so he walked out of the classroom leaving it for us to talk to each other
"so can I have your number?" he ask turning around staring at me in the eyes, I nod my head
"yeah sure" I pull out my phone and hand it to him. He types in my digits and hands me back my phone. The teacher walks back in and carry's on with the lesson. Soon enough the bell rang and people were packing their things away and walking out the classroom. I was putting my backpack on my shoulder and started to walk text to Rickey I felt a tap on shoulder, I turned around and saw Ethan I smiled
"ill text you later" he smiled and walked away,

I turn back around and Rickey looks at me and we carry on walking till we see Madison, I walk over to her and we walk off and Rickey goes to his class.

We were walking out of the school door and we all went our separate ways I got into my car and drove home.

I walked through my bedroom and laid on bed. Today was a good day I met some friends and gave someone my number. I get changed into my thrasher hoodie and some leggings and jumped on my bed again. My phone buzzes and I get it from my nightstand and looked at the unknown number.
unknown number – hey its Ethan Dolan, Im in your math class.
