Dark Dreams

Chapter 1 : Sleep . Dream . Repeat

"Okay okay...*pants* (y/n) keep yourself together you are going to do this!"

You lean back against the stone wall, clutching you sword in your hands firmly. You know that in order to leave the Dreamworld is to kill that freaking demon that is between you and the gateway. It stood there, waiting for another prey to emerged, right beside him is a pile of rotten carcasses and shiny bones. It turns and looks at your direction, you quickly dart to a rather destroyed barrier and plan your next move. It's red glowing eyes scan the last battlefield, you noticed flesh and blood was splattered everywhere. With every step the demon takes, you can feel the ground shaking, "BOOM...BOOM...BOOM...BOOM...". Then you spot your chance, it humongous back is facing you.

"YAHHHHHHHH!!!", you shout as you leap past your shield and charge towards that demon. It spins around and let out a deafening roar, lunging his sharp claws at you. You quickly roll to the side and stab him straight in the gut. It lets out an ear piercing roar, the shock wave is so great that it pins you to the ground. Unable to move. You know you have made it angry just like always. With an angry blow it send you flying across the battlefield, smacking into a wall.

"Ugrhhh..."

"Shit...it is much stronger than I remember, my skills have been much rusty these days. It has been so long since I last did this. I must find a way to stab that symbol on it's head though but I can't even go near it without getting wounded...*cough* Which reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus, the game Jack has played."

You recalled Jack has once jumped from a high structure and landed straight at the beast back. You quickly look above you and spotted a ledge that you can climb up but first you have to stun the demon. The demon charges at you. You did a backflip and pin it's tail on the ground with your sword. It was furious but distracted. You quickly climbed on top of the ledge and jump onto the back of the horrifying demon. The demon roar once again trying to fling you off it's back. Tightening your grip you finally reach the top of it's head. At the same time, the demon have free itself.

"Goodbye, demon." You smile as you reach for your dagger and stab the symbol. The demon let out a cry that sounds like a thousand of soul being release from it. It crumbles to the ground. You jump off it and landed in a perfect pose. You pick up your sword and walk towards the demon. You cut open the symbol a grab the key to the gateway.

"Another job well done! Whew! I really should polish up my skills when I get back. Damn, that hit was painful."

You walk slowly towards the gate and insert the key. It slides in perfectly and the gate open up a portal back to the real world. You carry your sword on your shoulders and walk into the blue swirling portal.

The portal transported you back to Dreams headquarters. Both sides of the hallway is filled with the same portal that you just came back with. The hallway is crowded with people. You see lots of familiar faces, even Amy and Signe. You waved at them when they spotted you.

"Hi (y/n), back from your vacation so soon, it's good to see you back here!" says Amy.

"Yeah (y/n), no joke you are still our best fighter here but we are catching up with you." Signe laughed heartily.

You give them both a big hug an say: "Aww, you guys. Yup that one year vacation really hits me hard, I almost got squashed by that level 3 Boss back there. I really need to work on it and fast. Well enough of me, how about you guys? It has been so long since I hang out with you guys. How's the boys?"

"Well Mark is a big loving douche as he always have been, lately the has dyed his hair back to his original colour. Hahaha!!! His fans went crazy because of it. *winks* Ohhh! Ohhh! Annnddd he has just reached the 16 million millstone, I'm so proud of him!"

"Jack hit his too the next day Amy, 14 million standing and proud. Brothers to the end am I right (y/n)." Says Signe as she nudge you.

*nodding* You laughed.

"Hmm...what can I say about Jack... his is like his usual self, uploading videos everyday. Not much difference since you left (y/n). I am a 100% sure you are still up to date."

*Amy, you and Signe laughed together*

"As I was saying, (y/n), why don't you join us tonight for dinner? I'm sure the boys would love to meet you."

"Sure, why not. I can't wait to see Mark and Jack again. Not to forget Chica! I only get to see them on Youtube while I am on vacation. See you guys tonight!"

Amy and Signe smiled and wave you goodbye.

*breathes deeply* "Ahhhh, it is good to be back home!"

Hi guys, hope you like my story so far. This is the very first chapter of my first story and there is more to come. Wohooo YEAH celebration!!!!! *fireworks*... *insert cricket sound*... too far... Sorry :\ Anyways...

I will be updating a new chapter everyday so be sure to come back everyday :D I love Mark and Jack, that is why I decided to add them into this story together with their girlfriends and probably in the future some of their friends.

P.S. There will be also a short intro to your job at Dream Headquaters and what exactly is Dream Headquaters later on ;)
