Ok, I just want to clear a few things before I beginith,

the nice sweet town of Fallout is not in any case real(:  This takes place in 2016 and there are real people in this, like celebs. I am not hating on any of them, I am just trying to make it more realistic..  ENJOY(:

Chapter 1: Best Meal In Years

"Here you go sweetie." My mother, the last of all that I know these days, placed a hard brown wooden plate in front of me with a great big Sloppy Joe.  I smiled a big smile of happiness and looked up at my mother.

Ten years ago, I witnesses my father be murdered by my own grandfather. My Grandfather looked at me and glared intensly, "You will never say a word!" then killed himself.  Of course I told my mother, a tiny six year old can stay sane for that long.

Then there was that time when I was just walking down my street to get to my friend, Ashliegh's house when I saw her mother run out screaming, covered in blood, screaming: "Their coming, their coming!  Run!  Now!  Only God can save you now!" Then something in her eye changed and she started screaming on the top of her lungs, her back folds back and I hear her bones crack as she falls to the ground dead.

Scared, I ran to Ashliegh's house screaming, "Ashliegh! Ashliegh!"

I got to her house and saw her standing in the door way, eyes closed and lifeless.  Her 8 year old body just dangled there for everyone to see.  I walked closer and she wrapped her tiny fingers around my neck, every time I tried to break free, her frozen Dead hands would grow tighter.

"Ashliegh," I tried to chock out but it came out like a gross muffle fallowed by a pile of spit.

"Arielle, leave." She said not moving her mouth.  Then she dropped me and slammed the door behind her.  A few secounds later, I heard her scream and then the world fell quiet.  That was the day I realized that I couldn't have any true friends with out worrying about the Demons that plagued their souls.

"Arielle, do you like it?" My mother asked snapping out of my thoughts.

"Yes mom, it's fantastic." I smiled taking a big bite out of my warm sandwhich. "What's the news?"

"On your brother?" Mother asked.  I nodded whiping a piece of Sloppy Joe off my cheek. "Still missing, I don't know where he could have gone."

"Do you think They took him?" I asked sadly, two months ago my older brother Gavin went missing after going on a hike with his girlfriend, Mariah.  Mariah came back but Gavin didn't, they think Mariah did something to him because she came back normally like nothing ever happened but she doesn't remember anything, if we bring up Gavin she starts crying saying all she knows is that he is in trouble.  Yeah no shit chicka, I just want to know where Their hiding my brother.

"I don't think They took him." mom finnaly said sitting next to me at the table. "I hope he is just hanging out some where safe and away from harm."  I shook my head, I have no hope for him.  I know it sad to say that but once you have been dealing with Death your whole life, you don't know what to do any more.

I mean, tiny babies that are born into the world have to go into hiding because no one wants Them to take over their little bodies.  The Demons would take over their bodies and eat their insides before they even got a chance to live their lives.  Parents sometimes would run into the wilderness when they found out they were pregnant, that or they would kill their babies before it was to late.

I remember hearing a story back in the fourth grade when I was nine, one year after Ashliegh's death, one of my teachers was going to have a baby, and this teacher was beautiful, had everything and loved her life, but once she found out she was going to have a baby, she told our class with a frown.  The next day, a subsitute came in and told us she would be our teacher for the rest of the year.

I remember when this attack from the other side first got to the world, it was back in 2014 when Ghost Adventures decided to do a live all night event in one of the most haunted places in the world.  Who ever went to the place never got out, where was it? Well, right in my home town called Fallout, the building was only investigated once and the people who did it died two weeks later to some weird cause that I can't remember what.

Anyway, Zak Bagans, you know him, trying to be all macho and torment the Ghosts that were tormenting him, he went a little far after he screamed insults about the Dead Man's personal life.  Nick was trying to calm Zak down as Aaron was in the back filming this freaking out.  Then Zak froze, not saying a word just starring at Nick.

"Dude, Zak, hello?" Nick said trying to get Zak to come back.  Nick looked over at Aaron who was still freaking.

"What's wrong with Zak?" Aaron asked.

"Get out!" Zak screamed in a different voice.  The audience of this happening was growing scared and so was I, I mean, if you saw this happening wouldn't you spaz?

"Zak?" Aaron asked.  Zak lifted his gaze and looked at Aaron.

"You!  Your scared?" Zak said with a smile on his face.  Then his camera dropped and it switched to Nick's camera.

"What the hell?!  Aaron!" Nick screamed. "Zak!  Knock it off!"

"Your scared too aren't you?" Zak replied still smiling. "Don't touch Aaron, he is dead." Then Nick's camera fell and you could see Nick's hand laying there, motionless. Then there was an evil growl, right after that, Zak's body was thrown to the wall dead.

"If you were smart you would run!" A deep scary voice screamed, then the TV channel turned to the host of Travel Channel who's expression was blank.  I was of course in tears because I had a major crush on Zak way back then.

"Arielle, why do you keep going blank?" my mother asked catching me off gaurd once again.

"I am just thinking," I replied.

"About what?" She asked.

"About everything that has happened.  You know, dad and grandpa's death, Gavin and Mariah, and the day They came out. You know, what everyone thinks about these days." I said now starting to play with my food.

"Just don't think about it dear, everything will turn out fine." She said rubbing my back trying to sooth me.

"Attention!" The TV blared, I turned and looked at a frantic looking man with messed up red hair. "We need to leave town, evactuate.  Don't ask questions or They will get you!  Run now!  May God be with you!"  I looked over at my mother who just shook her head.

"We can't leave, They won't let us." I said.

"We have to, I don't want you dying my darling." Mom said as she got up and walked towards the car, I can't believe this is happening to us, just when we get close to finding Gavin.

"You better go." a soft voice said in my ear. "You'll be safe." I turned and saw that no one was there and sighed.  Why can't They just leave me alone for once, I am only 16 and I have already witnessed several deaths, one of these days, I am going to go crazy.
