My First Post! - Hey everyone :)

~ A Note to Anyone Listening ~

After a considerable amount of humming and hawing and after being mocked and put down for my writing, I have turned to Wattpad for hopefully something I will be able to consider as a fresh start. I am  a student, a worker, poet and aspiring teacher. Life's taught me a thing or two in my, almost, twenty one years on the planet, although sometimes I do feel my mind wanders beyond the walls of earth. I began writing poetry at the tender age of sixteen following the death of two really close family members. I didn't want to bother my parents with the pain I was feeling so I turned to writing and used it as a coping mechanism. I kept an online blog that was anonymous, like this one, but one day my friend, or so I thought, used my laptop for an assignment he was doing. In borrowing my laptop that day, it changed everything... he revealed my identity through screenshotting the poems most personal to me, he shared them with a guy I had my heart broken by and it all turned really nasty and I stopped writing online for a while. One thousand and twenty two poems later and I'm here, all healed from the wounds inflicted on me throughout life, but hey I am also happily shaped by life and moulded into the strong, happy for the most part, confident, and hopeful soul that I strive to be today. So, I guess this is hello! Id love to get some feedback on this and also future posts that I am going to make. If you have read until the end of this, thank you so much for taking the time to do so. Through writing poetry I know at times it may strike chords or muster up emotions wanted or sometimes unwanted so I would ask that you feel free to drop me a comment or message for a chat or whatever you like, I'm always open to making some friends and getting to know people from all over the world! also if it helps I speak Italian and Spanish too!
