Broken Hearts (Reader x Mikasa/Annie?)

I was bisexual, and everyone at school knew it. I was also the first to come out of my closet. And then came my best friends, Reiner and Bertholdt. We have been friends for 12 years now, and all this time they have always protected me and helped me through some stuff.

Today, I was gonna do it. I was going to finally tell my crush that I liked her. I was laying on Reiner and Bertholdt as they sat together on the bench, and they were giving me strange advice tips near the back doors of the school.

"Reiner, Bertholdt. How do I tell someone I like them?" I asked one day when we were at my house, playing video games.

"YOU LIKE SOMEONE?!?!?! WHO!?!! WHEN?!? WHERE?! HOW?!?" They both had yelled and tackled me to the ground.

"Mikasa." I responded with a blush and a slight giggle.

"...and then you grab her hands and kiss them." Reiner was saying.

"Hey Bertholdt, when did you first start liking Reiner?" I asked before they could go on about these 'dating tips'.

He went red. "Uhhh... well... if I am gonna be completely honest..." He said while rubbing the back of his neck. "It was in 7th grade." He said quickly, and very quietly.

"WHAT?!?!" Reiner boomed as we all fell from the bench, laughing.

"Hey, you know what you just sounded like Reiner?" I asked while laughing.

"Hey..uhh.. Do you know about the rumor that is going around about you?" Krista asked me one day.

"No. I didn't know that people actually cared about me that much to make a rumor about me." I said back while holding in a giggle.

"Well, people are saying that you and Reiner and Bertholdt have three-somes every weekend. And that you... uhh..." She said while looking down, obviously uncomfortable.

"I what?" I forcefully asked her.

"You...." She said before she whispered into my ear. "Suck them off at school." That short statement left me laughing.

"Is this all because of the bathroom incident?!?" I asked while on the floor, laughing.

"What's the 'bathroom incident'?" She asked.

"You haven't heard about it? Ok, well, when Reiner had that terrible bloody nose, he went to the boys bathroom, but he ran out of paper towels, so I went to the girls bathroom, grabbed some, and went into the boy's bathroom. And people think that I go in there everyday now. And they still ask me about it." I said as I raised myself to my feet.

After Krista left, I told Bertholdt and Reiner. They both flipped their shit and figured out who started the rumor a few days later. Then, they proceeded to beat the shit out of the guy.

"What did I sound like?" Reiner asked while catching his breath from laughing.

"That time when I told you about the rumors going around about us!!!" I said before bursting out laughing.

"She's coming!!!!" Bertholdt whisper-yelled to us whilst holding in laughter.

"Ok, just go up to her and tell her that you like her. See what her reaction is, and if it is good, ask her on a date!" Reiner said to me before hauling ass back behind the bushes to watch what happens, alongside his boyfriend.

I slowly walked up to Mikasa, just as she left her friends. "Hey, umm I wanted to tell you...... that I like you a lot!" I said a little bit more enthusiastic than it shouldve been.

I looked her straight in the eyes, and looked down from what I saw in them. Pure and wholesome disappointment.

"Ok, I'll just be going then..." I said as I started to leave.

"Wait a moment. Come here. I want to tell you something." Mikasa's angelic voice sang to me.

I ran back to her and looked up, eagerly waiting for what she had to say.

"BAM!" The force of her slap made a sound that echoed for a while.

"Disgusting. That's what you are. Why would you even tell me something like that? Besides, you are a whore to those bastards right?" She said pointing to Reiner and Bertholdt, who were running over.

"Reiner, Bertholdt, stop." I said, without ever moving any part of my body, other than to look up at Mikasa.

I readjusted my jaw before speaking.

"You think I'm disgusting? I've never had sex. Not with a woman, nor with a man." I say as I point to myself and step forward, making her fall back onto the concrete below. "So, you are the disgusting one! You don't even know that Eren had sex with 4 of my friends and got Sasha pregnant do you!? That's why you never see her anymore!! She's at home taking care of HIS baby!!! Now, let me ask, how many times have you guys fucked? I caught you having sex with him 7 times already!!! So don't go calling me a whore! And don't look now, but he's just caught himself another fuckbuddy." I say while poking and prodding at her.

"Wha...EREN!!! How could you!?!?!" She yells as she runs away from me, and to her 'loyal' boyfriend, just as he kissed his 'new' girl.

She proceeded to interrogate Eren about her 'fuckbuddies' and Sasha. She slapped the girl, and then her boyfriend.

Bertholdt and Reiner stand only a few feet away from me, astonished that I had the guts to do that. They came up to congratulate me, but I stopped them.

"This isn't finished yet. She'll be back in 3...2...1..." I say as she comes running back, mascara running down her cheeks.

She hugged me close. Her plastic boobs slowly suffocating me.

"Oh, you should've went for the waterproof mascara today huh? Well, bitch, this should teach you a lesson of acceptance!! Or at least kindness!!" I say as I slap her as hard as I can.

She backs up with tears in her eyes.

"You loved me a few minutes ago! How can you not love me now?" She asked, pleading for forgiveness.

"No. You broke my heart. The one that I was willing to give to you. And I guess I was right. About how disgusting most people are." I say to her as I walk away with my two best friends.

We walked back into the building and I had a melt-down. I was heartbroken. I could never let her see that. Bertholdt and Reiner were comforting me when someone stopped in front of the bench. I didn't care who it was, they probably just wanted to copy some homework or something.

"Uhh... hey (Y/n)..... I.... uhhh." The taller (but still short to other people) girl said. I immediately recognized her voice.

" Hey *sniffle* Annie. What's up?" I ask her just before she blurts out what she came to say to me.

"Uhh, (Y/n), I wanted to tell you that I have liked you for a long time, and I was wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner this weekend?" She said before looking down. Embarrassed.

I sighed.

"Annie," I said slowly as I got up, and placed my hand on her shoulder. " You and I both know that I would be honored to." I said as I hugged her.
