On a dark Friday night the wind was blowing,rain was pouring on the windows of a young boy called David , David looked out to enjoy the pattering of the rain but what he saw amused him he saw a man on the street with a knife trying to break into the shop of mister Thompson who was his neighbour, David was scared and terrified, he came downstairs to have a better look he went to the backdoor, as he opened the door he was about to scream when the man held his mouth and put a knife to his neck.
The man said with a thick voice "mention this to anyone and you are dead do you hear me" David had no option but to say yes, "i will be keeping an eye on you" the man said and he left. David who was still shaking after the incident dragged him self to bed. He couldn't sleep much because of the incident
The next day was David's family camping trip and this time they were traveling to Texas for a couple of days. David never told anyone about the incident of last night and he decided to keep it that way , as David's dad drove out of the drive way. He saw a group of policemen in front of the shop and he saw mister Thompson trying to explain to the cops what had happened. David felt guilty and could not say anything.David's father Charles tried to comfort mister Thompson. The incident kept playing over and over in David's head, his dad entered the car and drove off.
Along the highway David noticed a car had been on their trail since they turned out of their estate. He looked to see the who the driver was and he saw that it was the man that robbed the shop he sat down back very quickly which startled his mother. She asked what happened but David said nothing and then David began to sweat and pray .They kept driving till they got to a police checkpoint. The police had checked their car.. David was absolutely sure that he had lost him after an hour had passed and David didn't see the man he was now rest assured that the man has lost them
30 minutes later and David saw someone in another car.......
