What you are about to read is not your normal fairy tale. There is no damsel in distress waiting for a prince to come save. No this is a whole new fairy tale that takes place in an enchanted forest that mundanes call the Ever After forest. It is where all the fairytale characters live but what they don't know is that we are nothing like our stories. The Ever After forest is actually a clearing in the woods, what the humans see is what we good people call the forbidden woods. We call it forbidden because that is where our enemies live. It is full of criminals, thieves and murderers. That's what I've been taught my whole life... My name is Skarlett but the mundanes know me as little red riding hood. When I turned 18 I got a hoodie as red as the color of blood which just so happened to be my hair color as well. When every character turns 18 they are to go into the Forbidden woods and go on a quest to relive their fairy tale as told in the mundane world but I strayed from the story and made my own happily ever after.
