I opened my eyes to an unnatural presence invading my senses. Chills slowly made their way down my spine, causing my body to paralyse in front of the cloaked figure.
Being unaware of my location, made tears flow across my cheeks and the increased thudding of my heart only made hearing strenuous. The moon's silvery rays no longer penetrated the dense canopy, leaving me isolated and hidden from light.
Despite the cool air wrapped around my body, my palms dripped with sweat whilst i was slowing suffocating in this hellish nightmare.
The overwhelming musk of the loam in the earth and the decomposing leaves made my surroundings seem close and thick.
The wind howled and blew a bitter chill past the dying trees; it danced with the leaves and dragged them away unwillingly from the autumn ground. Screams echoed throughout the forest accompanied by eyes hidden within the shadows, oblivious that they were prey to forest. The mysterious being now lurked in the essence of the devil's grasp, watching me with dire precision...
