Hey guys this is my new book and the first I have ever written. The picture on the top is how I sorta imagine Amber. In the next chapter I'll show you Bryan. Oh and amber has glasses but they are really pretty. The song next to the picture I feel really goes well with this book. Hope you enjoy!!!!
(Sorry for any writing mistakes)
Amber's POV
*beep* *beep* I groan at the obnoxious sound of my alarm clock. It's only 5 in the morning, but I have to go to school early to set up some stuff for my club.
Everything is kinda blurry with out my glasses, but I can still make things out. I hit the off button of the clock and slowly get out of bed. I pull out a pair of jeans and a tie dyed shirt I made a few years back.
My converse is the only pair of shoes I wear. I think that the ones with all the writing on them from their friends is so cool. But I'm kinda awkward and all so I don't really have the guts to ask anyone to sign my shoes. I guess it's okay though since I don't even have that many friends.
I grab my jacket that is huge on me and I make my way to the bathroom, scared to look in the mirror for the horrible sight I may see. My hair is all knotted and twisted in different directions. Oh and great, a new pimple found its way on my face.
I grab my phone and play soap from Melanie Martinez, knowing that calming my hair down will take a while. I yank the brush through my hair like there is no tomorrow. It's funny when I do this to my hair it doesn't really hurt. But when somebody else does it, i just wanna punch them in the face.
I dance along to the next song that pops up on pandora, hide away. I hear giggling from the doorway and I quickly turn. "Amber your dancing is burning my eyes." My best friend, Riley is laughing at me.
"Oh come on you know you are jealous." I finish washing my teeth and end my little dance party with a sprinkler. This really makes her laugh. She grabs my arm and pulls me out of the bathroom.
"Amber you are really going to wear that? You know America isn't going to drop knowledge with trump as our president."She points at my shirt that says drop knowledge not bombs. I pout and just roll my eyes.
"This shirt is fine Riley, and you never know maybe aliens will come down and save America." I wink at her and she hands me my phone and a chocolate peanut butter granola bar. It's better than it sounds.
I smile at her and follow her to my door. We walk to her precious car, she calls her baby. I don't blame her she worked the whole year, last year, for this car. I'm working at a diner for some extra cash.
We hop into the car and Riley zooms out of my house. Riley is completely opposite of me. She plays volleyball and she loves boys. Oh and she has a really good sense of style. Riley really believes in true love and won't just date anyone who likes her, unlike most of the popular girls at my school.
"Were here." She parks in the front of the school, one of the advantages of getting to school so early. We both get out of the car and start walking to the back of the school.
You aren't really supposed to come to school this early. So we have to sneak in, which we aren't supposed to do either. I remember how long I had to beg Riley to come to school early with me.
We walk to our math classroom and lift up the window. Our teacher never locks it, she believes that the sun gives us the energy to do good in her class. This is the perfect time to come to school, because teachers aren't here yet and I have just about enough time do what I need to do.
"Okay riles come, we need to first go to the gym." She nods her head and follows me.
She taps on my shoulder repeatedly trying to get my attention. I growl back to her "what??" She smiles and starts blabbing her mouth.
