Finally it was the end of the day.. I got to go home from school. I recently just transfered from Massachusetts all the way to florida. Florida was way different than what I was used to. I didn't talk to many people because I was shy. Getting on the bus I realized I forgot my headphones. I sighed and plopped down into the seat. There were only two other kids on the bus since most people liked to wait and talk to their friends before going onto the bus. I played a game on my phone oblivious to my surroundings until I hear someone plop down in the seat next to me. I look up to see a blonde girl with blue eyes she had a face that reminded me of a mouse and she had tons of freckles on her nose. I smiled politely at her and went back to my game. My phone hit five percent and I sighed locking it and I put it in my pocket. There was this one tan guy with black hair and brown eyes that got on the bus very late. He plopped down on the seat parallel from mine. He looked at me and smiled. Without thinking I brought my gaze downward trying to avoid his gaze. He talked to the girl next to me for awhile she didn't seem to like him too much and playful banter was thrown between them. I laughed at some of his jokes focusing into the conversation. "So what's your name?" He asks. "Sierra" the blonde girl replys. "No not you the quiet one" he says pointing at me. I was shocked and thrown off guard at this. "Kylsie" I say quietly. He jokes with me saying playfully "what? Chelsea? Is it?" I roll my eyes at him and smile. "It's kylsie" I corrected him putting my feet up on the seat as Sierra left at her stop. On our bus all our bus driver played was country which I didn't mind I listen to alot of stuff including country thanks to my mom. A familiar song came on and I mumbled the words. After the chorus came I started to sing. The guy was watching me smiling. "You listen to country?" I quickly stopped singing and looked down. "Sometimes" I say trying to shrug it off. He tried to put his feet onto my seat. I frowned at this and push his feet off. "Come on your tiny you don't even need the whole seat" I narrow my eyes at him. "Well its my seat so I don't want your grubby feet on it" he tries to act as if he's offended by this. "Hey I know I'm just now meeting you but can I have your number? You seem to be really cool" I was shocked but I nodded as I hand him my phone. "It's almost dead" I apologize to him. He sighs and hands it back and then takes his phone out to give to me. "Here I'll just text you later" I take his phone and enter my number to his phone. I hand it to him just as I get off to go to my house. To my surprise he gets up too. "You're at this bus stop?" I ask and he nods. "Okay well I gotta go but text me?" He nods and we both go our separate ways.
