*Phoenix POV*
Dick Gumshoe, the lead detective in the criminal affairs department, came in today to give me over 100 papers to fill out for the current case I'm working on. Overwhelmed, I call Maya. Of course she didn't pick up. So now as I'm sitting here, trying to relieve my stress, I think of Edgeworth.
I slip my hand into my jacket pocket, my fingertips running across the newly sewn silk, I grab my phone.

"Wright..." Edgeworth says intriguingly

"E-edgeworth...Um...Are you busy?"

"Pardon me wright, but I do believe that that's non of your business"

I wince, not wanting to admit that I desperately needed help.

"I....I....Uh"

"If you called me only to stumble over your words then I should inform you that your wasting my time"

"I....I NEED YOUR HELP"

I face palm myself due to the sudden outburst of embarrassment

"......"

"It's okay if your busy, but Gumshoe came over and gave me over 100 papers to fill out and I would like to get home around 9:00 and-"

"Ill come and help you if you can help yourself to shutting your mouth."

I grin, slightly surprised, at his response. I didn't expect him to agree to this at all.

"Are you s-sure?"

"Hang up up before I change my mind Wright. I'll be there in 30 minutes"

"Thank you so so much I-"

"WRIGHT"

"S-sorry"

I hang up scared of denial. I glance across my desk at the scattered papers. Miles Is going to have an OCD attack in here.... I ignore the mess and grab the paperwork assigned to me and sit down on my office bench. I try my best to get as much as I can done before Miles comes over, yet as I do I only become more stressed.
I grab my head in frustrating, papers flying on the ground as I do so.

I was so distracted that I hadn't noticed when Edgeworth walked in nor when he grabbed my fallen papers from off the ground
