A Unforseen Encounter...

I've gone on many adventures in my life as a traveller but one adventure I shall never forget .It was  early winter and I was travelling across the pacific searching for treasure beyond human imagination.I searched for a long time but as time passed by, I eventually lost hope and decided to stop looking.As an adventurer I was quite curious as to what the world has to offer.

So as I was walking ,A mysterious person came up to me and asked me to find his family's lost treasure.I was quite surprised but I was quite curious to discover this treasure,so I accepted his request.

So the next day  I asked around and there were rumors that this treasure was in a town far too the east .I eventually decided to travel to this town.So I got on my horse and travelled and as I reached halfway of my destination,I noticed  something quite strange.

At first ,I thought it was my imagination but as I looked back,I saw a person who seemed to be following me.So I decided to travel normally but also to beware of my surroundings.It was getting dark so I decided to rest at this inn.

The next morning came and I began to continue my journey and  what I found intriguing is that the person who followed me finally stopped or so I thought.I finally reached the town and asked around if anyone has seen or heard anything about this treasure.An old man approached me and said"if u want to find the treasure,u must first find the book of  secrets which has all the answers u seek"at first I had no idea what he meant which made me wonder .

I kept thinking about what he said.I even went to the library to research "the book of secrets" but there was no evidence of its existence and even the book keeper had no knowledge of this book.It just made me more curious as to what secrets this book had in it.

I  kept searching for this book ,since its the only thing that can lead me to the treasure.Two days later,As I woke up I found a  small piece of paper that said"if u keep searching for this treasure ,u shall be in great danger"I was a slight terrified as to what is going to happen to me if I keep searching for this treasure.

I wondered if it was from the person who followed me or someone who also seeks to find this treasure.If only I knew what was going to happen to me the next Day....
