"Okay, mom," I rolled my eyes at him, earning myself a slap upside the head.
"The whole school knows what happened today." He raised his voice a little. "If they know you're here again tonight, God knows what they'll think." Bless him. You could tell how stressed he was.
"Alright, alright," I tried to soothe his temper. "I'll behave, I promise." I heard him let out an audible sigh. I felt my lips form a small smile.
"Fine," He grumbled. "See you later." I rolled over in the bed just as I heard the door close. I liked his bed. It was soft. Comfortable. It smelled like him.
"Yeh, whatever," I spoke to the now empty room.
‡Five Minutes Later ‡
I'm bored.
I'm really fucking bored.
Like, what does Zero expect me to do until he comes back?
He said that I'm not allowed leave the room, but I'd be fine with that if the man actually had anything to do in here. There isn't even a TV.
I had my phone with me, though I had no charger. I had one or two games on it that could keep me occupied for a while.
I let out an audible groan at the thought of the boredom to come.
I ran a hand through my hair and picked up my phone, going to Lola's contact, smiling slightly at the picture I set of her looking derpy as hell.
I pressed the call button, waiting for a few moments for her to answer.
"Jesus, are you really that needy? I just saw you like a half hour ago," I smiled at the energetic girl's voice coming from the phone. You could always hear the smile in Lola's voice, and it every sentence was nearly always ended in a giggle.
"Well, hello to you too, Ms. Shinohara," I replied, somewhat sassily. Lola giggled in reply.
"What's up?" She chimed. I sat back on the bed, leaning a pillow against the wall so I'd be more comfortable.
"Well, I have nothing to do for the next few hours. Wanted to call you."
"What you mean?" She replied. I let out a sigh, running my hand through my hair once again.
"Zero had to go out on patrol so now I'm all alone and I have nothing to do all night," I looked out the window to see that the sun hadn't even fully set yet and I could see a faint outline of the moon in the dimming sky. I sighed quietly before it turned into a yawn.
"Oh, well I'm sorry sweetie but I have to go to class in like five or ten minutes. I can't call for long," I audibly groaned and lightly bumped my head against the wall in response to Lola's answer. I could already feel myself getting tired. I snorted inwardly. Some vampire I am, when my bedtime is at flipping 9 o' clock.
"I can talk while I'm getting ready, though," She added. I sighed. I stopped and furrowed my eyebrows before speaking.
"Lola..," I started, dragging out the vowels in her name. She quietly hummed a reply. "It's Saturday, sweetheart."
It was silent for a second.
"What?" She whispered incredulously. I chuckled, hearing her mumble to herself about how she was sure it was a school day. Only Lola, I swear. The poor girl doesn't know where she is half the time.
"Oh.." She mumbled. "You're right." I smiled, laughing quietly for a second at my dear friend's stupidity. I gained my composure, remembering the spectacle I made of myself only about ten minutes ago.
