I looked up at all the tall buildings amazed that I finally can say that I am a ceo of one. out of all of the horrible things that came out of my life this Is one of the good things. to get where I am took a lot of dedication and since my mom decided to walk out on me at 14 I did it all on my own no dad, no mom nobody and I am proud of myself for that. the new York sky seemed to gaze down upon me and I suddenly realized that I was forgetting something. making a u- turn back to my loft I realized I forgot my phone.
''damn it'' I mutter to myself to the obnoxious ass dude who deciede to double park on a very packed street. people are so inconsiderate these days. honking the horn for like the 15th tome the guy I'm assuming who owns the h2 range rover finally comes out and moves the car taking his sweet time might I add.
finally pulling up to my loft I quickly go up the elevator to retrieve my things which took forever hence the fact that somebody new was moving in right above me.
''excuse me miss can you hold that'' I rolled my eyes and placed a tight smile on my face holding the open door button on the elevator
''thank you miss'' he smiled gently giving me a once over. ''no problem '' I stated and continued to look straight ahead. finally when I reached my floor I couldn't have been more exuberant to be in home, but I had to walk out again because I had a very important meeting that I couldn't miss.
''where the hell did I put it'' I yell flipping over the couch pillow for the 100th time. ''are you fucking kidding me'' looking at the living room table I couldn't have been more livid than I already was. my phone was literally sitting right in front of me.
swiftly walking out of my loft and locking the door I head to elevator only to be met with the same man from earlier. ''glad to see you again beautiful'' he says his eyes wondering all over my peach fitted dress. ''hi'' I say once again placing a tight smile on my face wanting more than ever to get out of the elevator.
''I just moved in right above you, my name is Damien--Damien jones'' he says extending his hand in my direction.'' well I am Yasmine hines'' I said stepping off the elevator and heading to my car. ''so no hand-shake'' he asked with a smirk upon his face. ''sorry but I'm kind of late for something important'' I say glancing down at his hand and than getting into my car hearing the engine began to roar I slowly pull out of my parking spot and head to work.
''hey Ms.Hines your 2:30 is already downstairs'' my assistant gabby says. ''ok send them in''i say organizing some papers on my desk. ''so here we meet again beautiful''i look up to see the same guy from the elevator.
