"Well, I hate broken promises," I told him.

"You can't wait one minute to start scaring Zane? You're going to get us in major trouble."

"Me?" Dan put on his innocent act. "I didn't hide the dummy up there. You did-and you know it!"

"Did not!" I whispered angrily.

"Hey, guys, can I come with you?" I turned to see Zane right behind us. I hadn't realized he'd followed us.

"You want to come up to the Dummy Museum?" I asked, unable to hide my surprise. Last visit, Zane had been afraid of the dummy.

I read aloud, distracting myself from the noisy ogre next door.

Not only was this a nightly routine, but another lovely excuse for me to give him a piece of my mind.

"Excuse me?"

I open my window, shivering once my finger tips met the cold metal handle; slapping me in the face.

He ignored my yells, proceeding to dance to the 90's hip hop album that repeat itself almost every night.

"Excuse me!" I scream, grabbing his attention.

He slid open his window, resting his elbows on the side.

"Can I help you, miss?"

I roll my eyes, showing him the book I had been reading.

"What is this?"

He chuckles, throwing his hands in the air.

"It's a book, princess."

I ignore his pet name, throwing my book on my bed; most likely loosing the page I was on.

"Exactly, for reading. Not to get distracted by boneheads like you!"

He rubs the stubble amongst his chin, pretending to have a heart.

"Ouch?"

I groan, about to shut my window before being interrupted.

Again?

Again.

"Goosebumps, aye?"

I shurg, opening my window enough to stick my head through.

"Huh?"

"The book, smartass!"

"You read goosebumps?"

"Yeah, when I was in elementary school," He chuckles, making fun of my choice of book.

I flip him off, slamming the door causing both curtains to shudder.

Taking a step forward, I am aggressively pulled back. My shirt caught between the window, ripping open my shirt.

I cover as much as I can, turning around not only to see him laugh, but snapping a quick picture.

"This isn't the first time I've seen them!"
