prologue

there's a lot that can happen in a day. every day is a new beginning. 24 hours. 1440 minutes. 86400 seconds. time is precious and it's what keeps us going. time is so sweet but can also completely ruin you.

you can meet someone you relate to on many levels. then, you can fall in love with that same person in a whole new and separate day. and that's exactly what happened to me.

he was the most incredible boy i had ever met in my life. the boy i fell so incredibly hard for, in just a matter of days. i met him by chance. that chance was the best thing that had happened to me.

life had been rough for me this past year. with my parents dying in a car crash, thus leaving my aunt and uncle to have to raise me and my younger brother. to my best friend committing suicide and me going through a deep stage of depression and anxiety.

he brought this light with him wherever he went. he was the most positive person i had seen. with his bright smile, loud laugh and life filled eyes, he brought me out of a dark stage.

now you may be wondering, who is this mysterious boy i'm talking about? who is this boy that made me see the light of life again? who is the boy that i care so deeply about and don't want a single thing to happen to him?

his name is Ethan Dolan. Ethan is the one that made my days brighter every single second he was with me. Ethan opened his arms fully to me and embraced me like no other person i met has. He is the reason why i fell in love so hard and so fast. this all may seem crazy but like i said, a lot can happen in a day.
