Aaron's POV:
I sprinted as fast as I could through the woods, just as I thought I lost them, they gained on me. I ran with all my might, but gradually slowing down, to my dismay. They had almost caught up to me....
I woke up with a start, drenched in sweat, gasping for breath. This reoccurring nightmare has been haunting me, ever since it happened. I don't really like to talk about it though, and I definitely don't tell people about it. Let's just say.... it's been the only dream I've had for years, or nightmare rather. Yet, it still gets me all shaken up like this. I hate it, but what can I do? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. That's what.
I quickly got dressed, and ran downstairs to get breakfast in my lonely, rundown apartment. I'll have to wash my sheets today. I cursed as I set down my plate of fluffy eggs and crispy bacon on my dining table, which is actually just in my kitchen. If you think I could afford an apartment with a dining room in it, you're crazy. I'm just a nineteen year old boy living on his own for Christ's sake.  I'm juggling college and a part time job, which is barley enough to afford a living off of.
I continued eating and thinking about what I was gonna do before school and work.
I finally finished my breakfast and put it in the sink to wash. I then filled up my sink with water and dish soap, then washed my newly used dishes. Even though I'm a fairly young guy, I still like to be clean. Which I guess is unheard of with guys my age, but whatever.
I decided that I was gonna go out and do something, I would have to figure out what, but it's better than just sitting inside all day by myself. I bounced up the stairs and grabbed my phone off of my nightstand, which was located by my bed. As I turned on the screen, I scrolled through my contacts and finally landed on the one I wanted.
