I miss you
I miss how we used to be
I miss the old you
I may miss you
But in missing you
I miss my life
I miss the last warm sunset of the year
I miss the leaves falling
I miss the calming sound of rain hitting the window
I miss the feeling of a warm mug in my hands
I miss the laughter
I miss the music
I miss the way I could calm down from the sound of a book's turning pages
I miss walking through puddles
I miss what was once comfortable silence
I miss dancing to the music that was playing in my head
I miss a lot of things that used to mean the world to me
Now I miss the world
My world
I miss my life
I may miss you
But missing you isn't worth missing my world
Missing you isn't worth missing my life

PoetrySorry for being inactive for so long. Life has been life and, especially recently, it's been rough. I'm working on getting through my writer's block on my story but until then, I have a few poems that I'll be posting. Let me know if you like them.
