After Thoughts of Murder
The branches sway,
The leaves crumble.
My life is shapeless clay,
Curses I mumble.
The wind cries,
The dead man walks.
Over and over I lie,
About the monster people talk.
My feet drag,
Like that dead corpse .
I bump into an old hag,
"You will pay." She croaks.
Even if I clean,
The blood remains.
What does this curse mean!
Why can't I feel pain?
I'm an empty shell,
When can I escape this hell?
Was I alive?
I could never tell.
The Ocean
Down deep I dive,
Why am I still alive?
I held my breath,
Until all the oxygen left.
The fish swim by,
In this ocean.
After all this time,
I'm still in motion.
I'm a soulless doll, A puppet
Whose strings were sliced.
I'm friends with little miss muffet,
My sanity is a pack of mice
Scurrying away
As I dive deeper
Swept along my with the waves
Things get creepier
My chains drag me down
Unbreakable shackles
I am beginning to drown.
In this ocean of insanity.
Let's try something more.... cheerful!
The Valley
The tulips sway
The daffodils smile
What a wondrous day
It's been awhile
The sun rays tickle
Morning frost evaporates
The melting dew trickles
Reminds me of that fruit I ate
The valley's vast
Vast and empty
Makes you think of your past
But flowers there are plenty
The valley is unique
It won't let you leave
The scene just repeats
It's a trap that deceives
