little did Phil know,he would find out how much those words really meant when his tears stained the white paper of his letters to dan.

Dan and Phil were coming home from a party at 11:30 p.m. when suddenly,the both got arms roughly put around their waists and mouths and jerked into a dark alleyway."give us all your money Brown hair,or cat shirt gets it!"knowing dan he was scared to give him anything so instead of giving him money,he said,"I will give you my money.but I know you'll kill Phil anyway,so how about you kill me instead and take all my money but you can't bother my boyfriend ever again." "dan no!!!" Phil was shocked.he didn't want to lose his friend and boyfriend.but the muggers immediately agreed and took the money,then took Dan's life.one of them stabbed dan multiple times with a pocket knife,while the other pushed Phil's face towards the killing and forced him to watch his one true love die."get out,before we kill you too."Phil nodded and ran as fast as he could towards his apartment.as soon as he got to Dan's room he cried.he looked up,"why dan?why couldn't you have let it be me?"he fell asleep soon after he said those words,his acid tears burning his blue eyes and pale face.
