~Leaving home~

Shannon's Pov~

I laid down in the grass looking up in the sky listening to the radio

Radio Says-

But first here is the weather forecast

Skies are cleaning up thanks to a high pressure front moving in from the mountains mild winds pushing the clouds out and a beautiful full moon lighting up the sky so if you have anything special tonight might  be the night

Tomorrow would be good with sunny skies showing the sun

I turned off the radio and begin to run home

"Morning" said the neighbor

"Hi!" I said happily running down to my house

"Jiji! Wake up tonight's the night!" I examined still running to my house

I stuck my head into the window looking for my mom

"Mom..ohh!" I looked to see her "hi miss dohra!"

"Hey, mom it's gonna be clear tonight! And guess what the radio says were gonna have a full moon! I examined happily

"Did you borrow your father's radio again without asking?" She asked

"Don't worry he doesn't mind! And excuse me miss Dohra!" I bowed

"Mom it's a perfect midnight for me to leave home!" I smiled

"You mean tonight! Last month you told me?" She protested

"Yeah but it might be on a cloudy night, this would be the perfect midnight midnight!"

"Wait!" She yelled but I ran before she couldn't protest

~time Skip~

"Hurry up! We always said on the perfect night! Didn't we!" I argued grabbing cloths and stuff I needed

"Nuh uh our plan was next month so we could play it safe I like that plan" jiji shook his head

"We could put it off for a month what if I get a wonderful boyfriend then what then? I smirked

"Oh no"

"Come on jiji?" I whined

"Imma put my paws together and pray you aren't serious!" He whined

"Of course I am!" I protested and shook my change box to check if I had any changed 

"you know ever since I turned 13, I'd be excited about making this trip!" I said

Then I heard someone coming in the drive and got up

"Dad!" I said excitedly

"Dad guess what I decided to leave tonight!"

"You're going away!" He frowned

"Yes! Tonight is a full moon!" I said

" I know but what about the camping trip we was supposed to go this weekend?" He asked

"I am sorry dad!" I apologized going back inside

~time skip~

I was in the dressing room putting on the dress my mom picked out for me

"Very pretty." My mom compliment me

"My look would would be pretty with white"

"Witches wear this color for a long time Shannon" my mom said

"Oh mom..I look really dumb "

"It's not important what color it is, what matter it us the heart that it is in side" she examined

"Well I'm gonna be the very best I can be mom, good heart is important" I said proudly

"Just follow your heart and keep smiling" she out her hands on my shoulder

"Yeah" I said in agreement

"And be sure to write home when you get settled" she. Said

"Dad!" I ran up and hugged him

"Can I please take the radio!"

"Mom did you say I could have the radio!"

"Mhm" she says and nodded

"Alright it's yours then" he said

"Well you surely look grown up, my little princess"

I gigged and spinned around "tada"!

"You look just like your mother when she was young" he said smiling

"I'm glad about that"

"Dad, can you lift me up like when I was little?" I asked

"Well.." he stood up trying to pick me up and failed at first

"Here we go!" He spinned me around in the air and we laughed

"Why haven't you told me you was growing up so fast, if anything doesn't work out you can always come home"

"And come home a failure.." I sticked my tongue out and we laughed

"Will you write us when you have the time?" He asked smiling warmly

"I love you dad" I hugged him

~time Skip~

I stood there talking to my friends waiting for the time to go

(Imma make the girls names up lol)

"Are you gonna find a city by the ocean?" Lou asked and darcy giggled

I nodded happily

The awed

"I'm not just going to have a good time, inn cording to be a great witch I have to spend a year away from home" I said looking up

"Yeah..tell that to the boys..." Molly said and we all gigged and laughed

"Shannon it's Time" Mom said

"K!!"

I ran up to mom

"That's the broom you'll be taken" Mon frowned looking at the broom I made

"Yes, I just made it this morning" I nodded

"Honey it's too small I'd rather you take mine"

"But mom it is so old.."

"It is good you can rely on it in any kind of weather and please do this for me " she asked

"But I made this one.." I explained

"Your broom is nice but let's take your mother's" jiji said in agreement

"You're Great help'" I glared at jiji

"Now Shannon, can you make another broom when you settle down.." miss dohra said

I nooded and Kissed mom and dad good bye and got on the broom and flew into three trees than got it settled on the broom

"GoodBye everyone I'll miss you! I examined

And flew off
