Chapter 2

Lisa P.O.V

I heard his car pull up.

Lena and I quickly went back to the chair. I covered the window with the black paper.

He came down with his knife. I could tell he was drunk. He walked over to me and cut my throat. Then tried to cut my arm but Lena hit his hand out of the way.

He glared at her. He grabbed her arm.

" I'll be back in a little. ", He said.

He walked back upstairs and locked the basement door.   

" Thanks Lena. ", I said and hugged her.

" Let me see your neck. ", Lena said. 

" He got you pretty good. ", Lena said a little worry in her voice.

She ripped a part of her sweatshirt off and covered my cut.

I smiled a little. 

" Thanks sis. ", I said.

Emma P.O.V

I saw the car pull away. I knew something wasn't right.

I ran down stairs and to the neighbors house. I tried to open the front door. Locked. I went to the back door. It was unlocked. I heard a faint sound of two voices.

I went down some stairs. I saw a key hanging on a hook. I unlocked the door.

 Lena P.O.V

I heard the door open. I looked up. It was the girl who waved to us from her window.

" Hi. I'm Emma. ", She said.

" How did you get in? ", I asked.

" The back door was unlocked. Did he kidnap you guy? ", Emma asked.

" Uhhh- Yeah. ", Lisa said not knowing weather to be honest or not.

" Well I'm here to help. ", Emma said. I felt a smile spread across my face. Then it faded. 

" What if he comes? He will kill you. ", I said.

" Well I'm willing to take that chance. ", Emma said. See seemed to be fearless.

Lisa and I got up and hugged Emma.

" Thank you so much! ", Lisa and I said in unison.

" We better get going before he sees. ", Emma said.

We ran out. I stepped outside. I missed the fresh air. Emma opened the door and we ran upstairs to her room.
