"So, let's get to deciding." Mr. Schue said after auditions. "Who's in?"

"Mike!" I exclaimed. Everyone looked at me. "Come on, guys. You have to admit, he was good."

"He was." Jake agreed.

"Okay. Mike's in. Who else?"

"I liked Heather myself." Marley said. "She had a really powerful voice and we need powerful voices if we wanna get to Nationals."

"Alright. Heather." Mr. Schue said, writing that down. "Who else?"

"I liked the three boys." Unique said. "They were really good."

"Okay. Brett, Cory and Kevin. That's five."

"What about Candy?" Kitty said. "I really liked her. She's a lot better then her sister."

"What do you guys think? Is Candy in?"

There were a few murmurs and everyone agreed to add Candy. Mr. Schue made a note and said the list would be up tomorrow.

"Marcia! Marcia! Come here, quick!" Mike called. "Look! The list for Glee is up!"

I walked over to the group of students who were around the bulletin board. Many were walking away, looking upset.

"We got in!" I heard Kevin exclaim. I chuckled and made my way through the crowd to look at the board.

I gave my little brother a hug and went off to my first period class.

The New Directions and the band gathered on the stage in the auditorium for our first group numbers. We introduced each other while we waited for Mr. Schue to get there. Once he finally did, we started the song.
