"[F/n]!" Ace's deep but cheerful voice reaches your ears, glancing up from the ground you see him way further up the beach from you. His four brothers all surrounding him.

You had all decided to go to the beach today but this is just ridiculous. Beaches are meant to be warm, sandy and genuinely happy places. This beach is as cold as the antarctic and there's stones everywhere...EVERYWHERE. You can barely see the sand past all these horrible, foot-slicing stones! And on top of that, this place looks slightly foggy and extremely isolated.

You and the brothers are the only people here. You had learnt that Sabo and Ace has a younger brother named Luffy and two older brothers, Marco and Thatch. All of which, adopted by Edward Newgate. Or "Old man" as they call him and not biologically related, though they might as well be.

"Come on, [F/n]! I haven't gotta carry you, have I?!" Ace yells again, you could see him vaguely taking a few steps toward your direction before he begins to sprint. This is all his fault.

'We're going to the beach, dress appropriately.' He said! APPROPRIATELY FOR THE BEACH USUALLY MEANS BIKINI'S. Not that you were wearing a bikini. You were wearing shorts and vest shirt but luckily, you had a hoodie on over it. Without that, you would be freezing more than you are now. And for shoes? Crappy little flats. You had thought that you wouldn't need anything too thick for the beach. Who wouldn't think that, right?

Of course, he had failed to mention this beach SUCKED. The only reason they came here was for the boat that Newgate owned. It's a terrifying thought in some ways considering only Sabo and Thatch knew how to swim. Marco, Ace and Luffy could swim about as well as a brick could.

So yes, you were worried for the boy's but as long as Thatch and Sabo are here, they should be fine. Ace's chuckle reaching your ears as he finally makes it to you, the freckled male turning his back to you as he crouches down to his knee, his breath still ragged.

"Come on, get on my back. I'll carry you the rest of the way!"

And so you should! This is your fault, asshole!

You decide to just silently climb onto his back, avoiding the temptation to take a dig at him mainly because you know what he'll do. Known Ace, if you insult him, he'll then refuse to give you a piggy back ride. And now you need one.

"What would ya do if I...accidentally dropped you in the water~?" The male asks mischievously, a bad-boy smirk plastered across his face as he strolls languidly toward the ocean with you on his back. Out of instinct, your nails dig into his shoulders in order to cling to him as a loud 'NO!' leaves your lips.

"I'll fucking drown you in that water, Ace! Don't even think about it!!"

"I'm just playin'~" The boy chuckles, still deciding to put you down, but thankfully not into the water. But still causing a pout to rise to your face as you feel the stones already digging into the soles of your feet through your flat shoes. "Don't worry, I'll pick you up again in a second." He reassures before you even begin to complain, clearly noticing your pout. He surprises you as he slides off his jacket, a small shiver visibly running up his spine as the cold air hits his back.

Is he crazy?! IT'S LIKE -40 OUT HERE!

Your surprise only rising when he drapes the warm jacket over your shoulders. "Here, it won't do much for your legs but at least your top half will be warmer." The freckled male smiles as he crouches back down, allowing you to climb onto his back once again.

His hands thankfully covered most of your thighs as he held you up, his touch somehow warming your legs a little. His whole body was strangely warm, he felt like a radiator despite the fact that he just took off his jacket.

You instinctively lean up against his back in attempts to absorb more of his warmth, that and you didn't necessarily want to risk falling back-first into the sharp stones on the ground. You also didn't mind the position you're in, leaning up against this man's muscular back with the smell of his cologne blessing your nostrils? His large hands touching your thighs? His long hair tickling your cheek as you rest your head on his shoulder? Hell, how could you possibly complain about that?

And then of course, the boy starts to sprint back to his brothers. Out of a panic, your arms wrap tightly around his neck and your legs around his waist, clinging onto him for dear life and not even noticing that you're choking the boy. "Don't drop me, Ace!"

Upon reaching his brothers, the boy lowers you to the ground. His face bright red as he struggles to catch his breath. The guys currently getting the boat ready to sail, the only one not doing anything was Marco. The blonde standing on the dock, skipping pebbles across the water before his eyes drift over to the both of you.

"Such a romantic sight, Ace~" Marco teases, a taunting smirk spreading across his lips as he skips the last pebble across the water. His gaze still locked on his brother. "Piggy back rides on the beach? Smooth yoi~"

"Shut up." You mutter only half-seriously, giving the blonde a playful shove. Ace surprising you by not retaliating at all though, usually he'd kick his brother's ass for teasing him. Then the fact that he's currently coughing up a lung comes to your attention.

"Sh-She...hit my Adam's apple." The freckled boy croaks before he coughs some more, his hand coming up to his neck. "D-Damn, [F/n]. That's how you thank a guy for helping you?"

"She's just playing hard to get yoi," Marco snickers, his eyebrow quirking as his small laughter halts immediately. And you know what's coming already, the down side to Ace having older brothers; they're rude minded as hell. "Or she has a strangulation kink~"

Yep, there it is.

"Absolutely not!" You pout up at the cheeky blonde, certainly not expecting a pebble to come flying past your head and to hit Marco square in the face, causing him to stumble back. The male only tripping over a loose board in the process then falling completely off the dock and into the water.

I mean, I suppose you could consider him lucky that the water was only shallow, since he can't swim and all. Although when he stands, you see that his clothes are not only soaked, but covered in thick and sloppy mud. This beach is officially awful.

"Aw, fuck me." Is all the blonde grumbles, miserably pulling himself back up onto the dock before he tries to brush off the dirt with his hands, his eyes shooting daggers at Ace. "You're so going to pay for that, you little shit." A few simple words but the way Marco says them, they don't half send chills up your spine.

I have to go boating with these guys...They're going to kill each other...

"Alright, it's ready!" Thatch's voice reaches your ears, the brunette leaning on the side of the boat with a wide, excited grin etched into his features. "C'mon, gu--Whoa, what happened to you, Marco? You look like you lost a fight to a pig."

"Oh, the accuracy. I lost to Ace, which is close enough I guess."

Burn.
