Walking The Lonely Road (Gerard Way Fanfic)

Prologue

Gerard's P.O.V. 

It's finally the day! I'm so excited! My true love is having our baby, whom is not yet to be named. Hopefully its a boy! I really want a boy. 

"Hun, are you ready to go?" Lyn-z asks me, as we get into the car. 

"You bet it, I am!" I said, as we drove to the hospital. I rushed, as I was excited because her water just broke. I parked the closest I could to the hospital and I rushed my beautiful wife inside. 

"Hi, my water just broke, I'm in need of a doctor." Lyn-z said rushing. 

"Okay ma'am, a doctor is coming. What is your name?" The receptionist asked. 

"Lindsey Way." She said, before a doctor swept her away. 

"Sir, your woman's name isn't coming up. What is her maiden name?" The receptionist then said.

"Uhm, Lindsey Ballato." I said. She nodded and then told me what room she was in, and I rushed up to see her. I saw my beauty laying down on a hospital bed, seating and trying to push.

"Ma'am I'm sorry but you need a C-section." The doctor said.

"I don't want a C-section. Is there any alternatives?" My wife replied.

"Is natural water-birth a save alternative in your mind, Mrs. Way?"

"Yes, let's go get my baby out. Hun, let's go." I followed the doctor and nurses to the water-birthing tub, where I held my wife.

"Baby... I'm scared. What of the baby isn't what we want it to be?" She asks, while pushing.

"Believe me, she will be." I say, as she gives her last final push for the baby girl that my wife screamed and cried for for the past 6 hours.

"Mrs. Way, its a girl. Mr. Way, would you like to cut the cord?" The doctor asked. I nodded and took the scissor like tools and cut the cord, pulling my baby out of the water, when the nurses immediately took her, and I followed them as they bathed and clothed her. After about an hour, I was able to carry her back to my wife.
"Baby, I want you to pick out her name." Lyn-Z said to me, as I hand her our newborn, in her new hospital bed.

"Are you aire that's a good idea?" I ask, raising one brow to her.

"Most absolutely. Any name, I'll pick her middle name."

"Bandit. I want to name her Bandit."

"Bandit it is. Bandit Lee Way."

"She's so beautiful. I love her so much. My own beautiful bouncing baby girl. I know I wanted a boy, but I think I'm even more satisfied with her." I say, cradling her and my wife at the same time.

"Just in time to see my nephew!!" Mikey suddenly walks in.

"Niece. Its a girl. Her name is Bandit." Lyn-Z corrects. He shrugs.

"Okay, well, anyhow. Picture time for the family! Smile!" He says as he takes a picture of me with my loving family.
"Hello, I heard you have chose your name, here is her paperwork. Unfortunately, neither of you will be released until tomorrow, and visiting hours are officially over. I'm sorry Mr. Way, but you have to go home, and the baby has to go to the nursery." The nurse walked in saying, interrupting my family time. She swooped the baby out of Mikey's hands and took her to the nursery ( A/N or did she?). I kissed Bandit and Lyn-Z, said I love you to both of them, and left with my brother, wishing my family could be home with me.
