Change was and is inevitable. So was time, unfortunately. Cadence Tessio knew that and she hated both of them with a burning passion. She hated that she was sensitive to both. Time; because one minute you're laughing with your best friend about some joke you heard then the next they've disappeared and gone to a different state. It all just goes by so fast. She wished she could just slow it down. Change; because people changed in a good way or a bad way. You never knew if it was one or the other. Like when her best friend got his ear burned on a stove by he dad when he was only eight years old. It changed him in a big way. Who wouldn't be changed by that? He started taking more risks, even trying to kill himself when he was thirteen, but it never changed the admiration he had for his father. Or when another friend lost his big brother. He smiled less and thought it should've been him that died instead. His whole demeanor changed. And when Cadence's twin brother lost his jar of pennies that he buried under the porch, like an idiot, it changed him too. Technically it made him whinier but still. Finding that body of Ray Brower when they were kids changed them too. It was a good change, bringing them closer as friends. Even if Chris and Gordie were busy with college courses.

I hope you guys liked it. I'll update as soon as I can!
