Allow me to introduce you to the character's of this story and reveal the setting
The year is 3059
The human population has been reduced a great deal. Most of the world is underwater due to flooding .
The average population is made not only of people but of mutants as well (No not super powered mutants, its much less awesome. Progeria is not uncommon and neither is ectrodactyly. What once were rare are now just a part of life)
. This is because of the exposure to toxic waste and material .Many animals have either gone extinct or adapted, and mutation or anomalies in human DNA is not uncommon.
People tend to fear what they do not understand so what were they to do when they feared the world around them.
As I mentioned, many people died when all hell broke loose. Some suffocated due to to a thick layer of silt in the air. Many died from more disease. However, most died from the rabids. (a term to refer to the people who were driven to the point of insanity) After watching their world crumble and their loved ones die slowly and painful before their eyes many people went mad.
After that people learned to avoid each other. This way of thinking didn't last long though because soon people began to run out of food. So people moved into the cities that were yet to be reduced to rubble.
Some still starved... some resorted to cannibalism.
But thats just how things go. Together or alone death is inevitable
Eventually a group of people came together and made laws . They decided that all of the homes had to have a television so that they could broadcast any changes. They put together a team of technicians to undertake the task and they took the food from the homes in order to ration it.
So know that you understand the world I will introduce myself.
I am a part of a group of people called The Incendiaries
There will always be people who think themselves fit to rule over others , and we take it upon ourselves to get rid of the people who let the power get to them (or at least thats how I've heard people describe us ).
Some people think we are doing a good thing others think we are merely causing chaos. Personally I agree with the latter. We are not a political group , we simply like to induce chaos.
I am Teren born of Hex and Adelie . I am 17 .

Chapter one
"Teren !"
I hear Tai yelling my name. I adjust my mask so i can see clearly once more and I see a person standing before me wearing a corset and a pair of ripped jeans (most jeans are ripped only the rich buy new clothing) . I notice that their rabbit mask is a bit stained and that their bright red hair (which is supposed to be in a neat bun ) is sticking up.
I grab their arm and spin them around so i can fix their hair. This is their first outing. They are 21 . Their previous job was programming but due to a recent loss they were asked to join me.
"Hey there bunny rabbit. " I can see that they are nervous, their hands are shaking . " Here's the plan , set up the cameras and have them broadcast to all screens ,and then i want you to leave. okay?"
"what?! I am supposed to stay and leave with you during the explosion. " I can see them start to panic.
"No one is to die in this explosion, remember? Ive done this before . I can detonate the bomb on my own. It will be fine. Set up the cameras and then get to safety there is no reason for extra risk."
I watch as a wave of relief washes over them when the realize they aren't going to be in any danger.
With their hair now in a proper bun we enter a large gray building . There are no people in the building just medicine and technology. We go up the stairs to the fifth floor and begin filling bags with whatever we want to save.Then we head up to the roof. And Tai sets up the cameras.
"goodbye bunny rabbit " i wave as she runs down the stairwell. When i see she has made it out of the building i push the button on the camera and start broadcasting.

"Ladies ,Gentleman, and any other Earthlings witnessing this moment..."
A voice erupts from the screen sitting in the floor .
"Laurna! come look at this." My sister runs into the room.
On the screen a young person wearing a fox mask holds a fist in the air and a bomb wrapped in the other arm.
"I am Teren . I am an Incendiary!"
My sister and I watch as Teren's voice floods the room.
"The world is falling apart and we need to evolve. We need to survive as individuals and not as a group of people stuck beneath the thumb of people who are with holding necessities from the general population. I am an Incendiary ! We cause chaos because out of chaos comes life!"
We watch in awe as Teren pushes the button and the bomb counts down from eleven seconds. Through the holes in his mask we see him wink at the camera and sit the bomb on the ground and take five steps back.
Teren waves just as the bomb explodes and the cameras are destroyed.

I leap from the roof and swing into the office windows on the third floor.
As the building crumbles I bound down the stairs and duck beneath them . Tai swore that the staircase could withstand the force of the explosion.
I walk out of the building and when I am a safe distance away i remove my mask and disolve into the crowd.
