Chapter 13 - A Note From Scarlett

I had asked Lilla to acompany me to where in the world my Scarlett is, She seemed uncertain at first but she is seeming to relax some more now that we were completely alone she was basically forced to speak to me. The car rattled

"How did you meet Scarlett?" she asked, 

"It was a very long time ago. I wasn't very old maybe 2 or 3 it was in nusery she was the new kid and i was young i wanted to get to know the girl with long black hair and eyes, of an a incredible shade of violet. She was diferent. When i first layed my eyes on her my heart skipped a beat which is very uncommon in young age. I tried getting to know her but she didnt respond at all. Like she was completely imobile or dead? It was very weird" i explained

"I see, I wish i had someone to love me. But i guess i have to wait my turn, Anyway where abouts in greece have you and her been in the past?" she asked me. 

"Erm we've never been to greece i dont recall going there." i'm sure i had a confused look on my face

"No i saw greece, i'm positive" she put her short hair behind her ear and began tapping her fingers. We stopped at an inn. 

"Come on you need to sleep" i pulled Lilla into the motel and booked a room. It didnt cost much but it was alright. I had a rich background. I smiled as she groaned. Up to her room our room she went i stayed downstairs with my drawing pad and drew me and scarlett over and over her full lips, Perfect figgure, And amazing hair. Where is my darling? Why did she run? What was with Lilla and Vega? I eventually fell asleep, on the table with my hand on a cup, of tea. Lilla woke me at 8 am, I'd slept since 5am. She looked at me with my red puffy eyes and messy hair. She didnt look sleep worn at all. She ordered me and herself some coffee and here in this old inn we would figgure out what we are going to do next. Where we were going to be able to find Scarlett and how to get there. When i went to brush my hair, and teeth and wash myself to look presentable, she looked at me. I saw her hand on my drawing pad. 

"What are you doing with that?" i asked

"Looking, There very good" sh smiled. I snatched my drawings out of her hands and clutched it to my chest. 

"I found something on the back page. Its scarletts handwriting" she began, I silenced her and flipped to the back of my sketchbook. there was a note there

Dear my darling, 

                             If you are reading this then you have upset me in some way and Lilla has mentioned this. I wish i could tell you why i got so upset but alas i cannot. My sweet heart i adore you and i wish i could share my secrets but i do not believe i can trust you just as yet. But one thing i can explain is that you need to meet me in Italy, Volterra. I am sorry for hurting you. I love you

There was nothing i could say to hide my anger, Pain and love, A tear came to my eye........
