Nina

Hello, I'm Nina Reyna Reyes, i am exactly 5 feet tall and weigh 130 lbs (59kg) Today's my first day at Anaheim High School. Nervous but mostly scared. Everything sucks when your new, especially if it is in the middle of the year.

"¿Mija? Ya estás lista para escuela?" My mother, Ana, called out. "Si ma ahorita vengo!" I yelled from upstairs. I finished putting on my black vans, grabbed my book bag and ran downstairs.

She was already in the car waiting for me so she could drop me off, and once we got there I kissed her goodbye and walked to the main office.

I could already feel stares darting at me from every angle. I walked a bit faster to the office.

"Hi I was wondering if I could get my class schedule?" I asked nicely to the women sitting at the front desk. "Okay sweetie, full name?" "Nina R. Reyes." She typed on the computer printing a blue sheet out and handed it to me. I thanked her and left.

I looked at my first class, biology. Which was room 264, that was most likely was upstairs so I headed that way. I opened the door to see no one in the class. Thank the lord, the teacher was there.

He looked pretty young, he looked at me smiled and came to greet me. "Hello you must be the new student." He shook my hand and than led me to my seat I was, with his hand on my lower back making me just a bit more uncomfortable than I already was.

"Well class will start in a few minutes. I'm Mr. Ray and I'll be ur AP biology teacher." He smiled and than winked at me. He got up and went back to his desk.

Almost not even one minute later the class starts to fill in. I noticed everyone around me. A girl with a cut shirt, leggings, and maybe 3 inch heels, big hoop earrings and a to tight high ponytail. A guy that looked like a 'jock' to my left. Another guy but to my right, he looked pretty chill, just hella tattoos that were attractive and maybe gang affiliated.

"Okay its Monday you little shits! Today we're starting a new unit, genetics! So let's get started shall we?" I had my notebook out and a blue pen, I started writing down the things he wrote down on the board.

All we did was take notes and got a two worksheets for homework. Wasn't that tough, just 6 more classes!

Taking out my schedule, next class is maths 2. Heading that way the guy that looked like a jock had came up being me and slapped my bum. Making me jump and hit him as he passed by me. "Why the heck would you do that?!" I screamed at him.

He stopped with me. "Mami, why are you complaining? You know you enjoyed it." He smirked down at me. "No sir I did NOT enjoy that whatsoever, that's called sexual assault because I never gave you consent!" I yelled once again walking away slapping him once more.

I went straight into the classroom, but of course I had to bump into someone leading to me falling on my already sore butt. I looked up only to see the guy from my first class.

He gives me a hand saying "I'm so sorry I didn't see you there, are you okay?" I turned red as a tomato. "Yeah, no, I'm fine my bad I was frustrated and I didn't see where I was going." Oops.

"Its fine don't worry about that lil' mama, come get a seat next to mine yeah?" I nodded and followed behind him as the bell rung.

The teacher walked in once everyone was seated and 'ready' to learn.
