Chapter 2
I awoke feeling the hot New York sun shining on my tan skin. I rolled over and saw Amandah breathing lightly. I stretched and yawned and turned to check my phone. It was 10:08. Well that's alrig-10:08?!?!
"AMANDAH!" I screamed, "WE SLEPT IN! AND IT'S FRIDAY! OHMYGOSH!"
"WHAT?!" the usual heavy sleeper, shot out of bed
"How are we gonna get to school?!" I said, my eyes wide
"Damn, I don't know! My mom also took the car since mine is in the shop. This is justttt great." she said
"But," she started again, "My dad has unlimited passes to Dorney Park..." she grinned mischievously at me
"NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT." I said, strict. Normally, I would say yes but I was trying to become a better person and not a bad influence.
"Gosh, One day, someone's gonna ask you if you had the guts, and at least, I can say i did!" Amandah smiled
"Gosh, you are SUCH an asshole..." I began
She smiled wider, "Is that a yes?"
"....FINE. But only this once!" I surrendered
"YES!"
"How are we possibly going to get there Amandah?" I asked
"Well, there's a bus, at 12. So we can take that, and come home around 9:30," she finished with a smile
"Well...alright." I gave in.
Within 30 minutes, we were ready. I put my glossy black hair into a side fishtail and Amandah curled her dirty blonde hair for a glamorous curled back look.

"Ready my dear?" Amandah asked, grabbing the passes off her fathers desk
"More than I'll ever be babe," I grinned
"Let's go!" She grabbed my wrist and we ran down the stairs, out the door, and towards the awaiting bus. I was ready for a day of fun.
