I'll have it tough
It is a horrifying dream
It is life
It is the truth
He is running circles in my head
I wanna catch a ride on the dream he is driving...
My head was pressed against my desk, tired as ever.
"Asher stop sleeping and read paragraph two for the class," Mr. Reynor announced.
"WAKE UP!" I heard a someone yell, I turned around to realize it was him. When I did he smirked and turned a light shade of pink. Shaking my head I read on.
"Thank yo-," he said cut off by my dreams...
He is such a dork, I chuckled. On the outside I pretended to hate it but, secretly I loved it. He was so perfect, his grins, his laughs, everything. I can't think of a day we haven't teased one another. For the next year I'll try to forget about him, but that won't work.
My last year of middle school would be my finest yet also my worst. My friends would split apart, going to different high schools. Chandler my best friend would go to East Ridge high, and I Darnell High. It was going to be hard but I knew we would make it.
After almost dying in math we were released to freedom.
But seeing it now all was a blur of smeared memories. Wiped from my mind with the cloth of forget. No longer yearning for the love of someone else, but love for myself.
